Glai got upset because this team was getting more posts then his. He went off, threatened to close his team, and started telling everyone he hated them. This stuff happened often around T&C back then.

...That's it. My fellow T&C goers, I have finally figured out what's wrong with the site now. We all know the stories of how last summer was so good. You always see people trying to figure out what it is we're missing. I'm happy to say that, with the help of Gabriela, I have figured out exactly what it is. We're missing nothing. Allow me to go into a bit further detail to explain.

To start off, a small example of a new Rp. When you see one that's just opened, you think to yourself that this could be a doorway to new possibilities, new adventures, new storylines yet to have been told. When you start the Rp, it's such a wonderful thing. So much to do, so many directions to go in. There is no set path for you or restrictions to what you can do. After a while, it just becomes fun and not the same thing you nearly die waiting to post in. A while after it's fun, it just becomes another activity in your day. No matter how many storylines, no mater how many twists, it's just not that great anymore.

When this Rp began, I wasn't in it. I let the story play out until about page 300, then I jumped in. I'll tell you this much, I was having the time of my life bringing my ideas to life and seeing everyone enjoy them. I was going at full speed in the Rp until I saw something in there one night that completely turned the Rp at a right angle for me. Vee and Grace were in a hospital bed. Vee was badly hurt, and Grace was there to take care of him, lying in the bed with him to keep him warm. To anyone unfamiliar with T&C, this would be seen as a simple act of kindness shown towards Vee. As my characters continued to interact with Will's the play between Grace and Vee continued until such a point that they had sex. I can honestly say that I was blown away by this. To think that an action style Rp could be brought down so quickly by something so foul and unfitting for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rp. This cruel act was the introduction of the thought of love. It was far beyond my capabilities to think of anyone in this Rp as anything more than a friend who's willing to stick by your side and go out with you to do anything you wanted. I hate to say it, but it's not what we're missing that's bringing us down, it's what we have. We have love now, something that's an exact opposite of action and adventure.

Little bit of love is good, right? You don't overdo it, the romance won't mess with the action, right? Well, it's become too much and a common thought now. Lets fast forward a little in the Rp. So Gabriela has this brilliant idea for a story. Why not strand Starr out on an island and let everyone help her? I mean, that's what friends are for right. This story goes as planned, and everyone goes out to help Starr get her ship up and running again so that she can go back home with it. We all have a great time and even get a new character out of the story, Fred. Innocent humor is great. Now, I want you to imagine the same story, only taking place now in the Rp. Sure, some might go to help Starr out but most would just stay behind because they want some alone time with their lover. The ones that do go to help Starr would eventually break up, taking their love with one another elsewhere on the island and completely abandoning the idea of a story. This leads to a complete failure in the day's fun and just to another road of lonesomeness and unwillingness to post.

Tell me, what is your first thought when entering the Rp, hmm? Is it "Oh, I want to go start this storyline with so and so", is it "Oh, I would like to tag along and watch all of this fold out", or is it "Oh, I'm using this character, so I have to have its lover if I'm going to have any fun with it". Chances are, your pick is the third choice. One character is always bonded to another. When they're together, it's understood not to bother them, so they're just left alone to kiss, hug, and crack small jokes. No, stop, forget this. Stop secluding your characters and have them interact with all others. If possible, abandon the thoughts of love and JUST HAVE FUN. Have characters interact with others that they wouldn't normally even see. I mean, look at what this Rp has come to. "OMG, YOU CHEATED ON ME?! SUK DIK AND DAI LOSER! *Gossip, gossip, gossip*" or "HE'S HANGING OUT WITH HER?! OH HELL NO, GET BACK HERE! *Takes boyfriend off and leaves*". This is such a wrong mentality to have, but it's the only one left.

When everyone's understood as a friend, no one is left to only pair with another. People are actually encouraged to gather in mass crowds, and build stories off of that. From this point on, I refuse to show my characters to one and only one other. For Kane, he can forget hanging out with Sam all the time. She's going to be with Shadow, Blaze, Rath, someone whom she hasn't interacted with. For Derek, just forget Shadow, see her as a wife, but treat her more as a friend so that he may go hang out with other characters. The smashing of this mold we've bound ourselves in is the only way to mix characters up and start the stream of ideas and storylines flowing again.

The thing is that there's is some couples like Derek and Shadow that don't hug and kiss every second that they're actually in the RP, while characters like Garret are just loving on Sam. For me, I mean sure, I'll get Rath liking Kate, but I don't only RP to smother Kate with kisses and only hang out with her. I don't RP often anymore, but hell, I RP'd with Lilly, a character I haven't interacted with in a month. When two characters connect in a repeated way they start to only RP with each other.

The thing that concerns me the most is the people that can't live without love in the Rp. Have you been paying attention to Sam lately? He made 5 posts in the Rp, then immediately went to some random girl (Mia, in this case), swept her off her feet, and started making out with her, saying that she was the love of his live. People like this can't just be happy Rping as friends. Nick, though he is better, is another example. He mainly only uses characters if they can be of a love interest to another. Mostly, it's him using Nick when Silver's around. He didn't want that today so as soon as Gyra popped up, he used some strange boyfriend character of his to start messing with her; a character he hasn't used since Lisa left.

Then they can go find their true love while the rest of us actually RP. There's no sense trying to resolve something that won't be resolved.

Here's the thing, it's become so common that most are making out, rubbing on each other, or repopulating the world with children while so few are actually Rping, that they seem alone. It's too hard if everyone doesn't pitch in.

I'll pitch in for sure. his whole Sam x Kane thing is getting boring.

Here's what I would like to see. Derek, Sketch, and Lilly get together to go back to the cave they found Lilly in and dig deeper into her past. Alongside that, I've had something for Sam since November, just no way to use it unless Will was here.
