Alright. I've decided to start a Pokemon RP. Hopefully it'll be easy to get in to, and add some fun to this team.

Information

Focus on a Trainer POV (though you can have some Pokemon POV characters)
This is a new league. A new region. A map of the region can be found here (not shown, the resurrection center for fossils will be in Topa Town).
All existing Pokemon are found in this region. (You may make your own, too. Just provide all information (stats, moves, etc.) and make it reasonable.)
We are using the Fifth Generation move lists (Level-up moves, TMs, HMs, etc.)
There is no Elite Four (Final battles will be between the main characters).
There are eight gym leaders. They're numbered, but do not have to be fought in any order. Their Pokemon levels will be scaled to match yours.

If you need any information on specific Pokemon, I'd recommend using Serebii.
It has all kinds of information on Pokemon - Types, Move Lists, and more.
You can use other sources if you'd like, of course.

Bio: A trainer who lives with only his mother, she was a champion in Jhoto before moving to the TBD region. has grown up without a father for much of his life, and possesses a special ability in his genes that allows him to communicate with pokemon. Decided at the age of 18 to take on the league after hearing his mothers old stories and wanting to do the same.

Appearance: Leather vest with a tight tank top underneath showing muscles, baggy pants and weights around his ankles and and wrists. wears slippers when walking outside his gym
Gym: large one story building that is mostly empty on the inside. has an inverted mohawk with poke-symbals that are cut to look raised has a large sand garden on the inside with rocks of varying heights sticking out of it that is groom meticulously. on the edges is a stone flooring that leaves only 3 feet between the sand box edge and the wall. has a small pad from the door to the sand box edge where shoes are to be left. Has one large rock that is smoothed ofr him to sit on that rests under sand flowing fromt he roof that goes into the sand garden that drains the middle.

Bio: After graduating High School, originally planning on going to College to become a medical doctor, he's had a change of heart. Though already 18, far passed the typical age of beginning Pokemon Trainers, he's decided to become a trainer and travel the country. He's recently spent a lot of time studying Pokemon - how they work, play, act, think. He thinks he understands enough about them that he can become a great trainer.

Appearance: Silver instead of blue, Sea green eyes, Glow in the dark green inside the ears and on the tail. (Yes like my old sig.)

Bio: A young playful Shinx who was abandoned by her trainer due to the fact she seems to be able to use ice attacks. ((My reasoning is if they can learn ice fang they should be able to channel that into another attack. >_>)) Anyway she was a birthday gift to her trainer but he left her in the forest, her collar the only thing showing she ever had a trainer.

Bio: is the younger brother of Miles, was trained by him and was given an egg by his lucario that hatched into a riolu. Never has it in a pokeball but does have one for him. Loves training himself and Riolu. Knows his and Riolu's limits even at his younge age and mildly knows survival from his brothers hardend training.

Bio: A buneary that was trapped in a web, she was saved by raf. Acts like sinclair in that she is still a abit naive. doesnt act quite as childish. Likes to ride on his shoulder and put her ears over his eyes as a game.

Pokemon: Lumina (Shinx), Vince (Venipede), and Mei (Meinshao) [does not battle... only to help with training]
Hometown: Eindoak, Unova
Bio: Former Champion of the Unova League and a qualified Guardian of Aura, Leon is a powerful trainer. his aura abilities include telepathy (which allows him to talk to pokemon), Aura Shield, and a few other useful skills. Leon is a quite person and is rarely seen talking with his mouth (prefers to use telepathy), but when he get's into a battle (pokemon or not) his personality quickly changes to a more serious one. He is very intelligent yet rarely shows it. He is also able to understand pokemon even without Telepathy. He was also the Unova league's mercenary in case something happened that threatened the peace of the region.

Bio: Yonger brother to Azreal, one of the gym leaders. Trained with him when he was younger but once they both became of age they set off on different paths. Unlike his brother Night wanted to explore the world more instead of plain battling. Loves pokemon and knows a god deal about them, like his brother though he does favor fire types. Has travelled through all the regions except, Unova. Came back with an assortment of pokemon but keeps most at his house. Currently has 3 pokemon.

Casem wakes up in Amasi, outside under a tree as part as a survival training that his brother told him to do. He stretches out, seeing his riolu, still very young, is asleep on his lap. He smiles and picks it up and carries it back to home in the middle of Amasi.

*In the north western part of Malachi Forest a young shinx wakes up and yawns stretching. Looking around her ear twitches as the wind blows some leafs across the ground. Tail wagging she chases after them and pounces on them tossing them around. It had been a couple of months since her trainer had left her but she could almost forget about him when she keept herself distracted.*

HUnh. well, gets we should get to going. *walks out leaving a note for his mother and smiles* its gonna be a bit of a trek.
we'll have tog o through quartz cave. *walks beside me* think it will be difficult?
I cant imagine why really. though I cant catch anyone till my trainer card is updated.
*smirks* why, you know id enjoy seeing you behind bars? *laughs, walking*

night wakes up a little earlier than usual for some reason, he crawls out of his bed and prepares for the day. Fifteen minutes later he walks outside the motel with his Charmander right behind him. He looks around for a place to eat, spotting one not far off he heads for it turning back to say something to his pokemon.

"Come on buddy, we gonna get some food then do some training!"

Casem walks himself to the house, walking in and lays Riolu on a cot made for it. Casem walks back outside, thinking, and goes inside and wakes uo his Riolu, it waking up. Casem smirks at it and tell it to follow, going out and heading to Route 319 after leaving a note to his brother.

After a quick breakfast Night and his charmander are out in the field training. Night has charmander go through a series of attacks and increase his endurance for battling. After about half an hour they stop and Night lets Charmander rest. He sits down and gives him some food.

"Soon we will be challenging big bro together and be taking his badge from him, by then we will have more pokemon with us. Five more hopefully all trained up and we will win. Been awhile since we last saw him? You were so small then..."

Night looks across the field thinking about the other pokemon he will have when facing his brother.

*waks and stands in front of Quartz Cave, looking*
*sits beside him, much more nervous* so, um, you sure about this? I hear they offer guides through these caves.
*smiles at him* scared?
*scoffs* not hardly. just... its kinda dark.
I have a flashlight. 8flips it on and walks through*

Colossus: Are you sure you don't want to take anyone with you to this new region, boss...?
the pokemon's telepathic voice is slow and deep

Leon looks down at his friend with an amused grin on his face
"worried, Colossus?"

of course! you are going to a new Region without any pokemon!

"and? i can handle myself... after all, it's not like i'm weak"

t-true....

"hmm... we're almost to our destination..."
and with that he pulls out a map and looks it over
"we're going to land in Malachi forest, understood?"
