Sounds interesting... Do you get paid a base rate or is it like an incentive system based on sales?

There was a salary commissions or just all commissions. I don't know I'm going to another job this friday that's basically the same thing and doing an interview for it, though im going ot apply to a shopping center down near where i live and see if they'll hire me for that. would be close ot home and not sales/incentive seliing based.

Sounds like the last is the best of the bunch, but that's just me. I'm sure you'll go with what is best for you.

Yeah I'm hoping to get a job like that. or just one outside of sales. But if I have to do sales to live its what I'll do.

Cool. I know this radio guy here had on Rick Flair to teach people how to do a proper Woo! He's in town for Steel City Con and you can go up to meet him and get his autograph (for a fee).

The fee thing blows my mind. I saw it at our mall once for this Dallas Cowboy who was apart of one of their Super Bowls with Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman, and he was like some no-name backup / practice squad guy. XD

I think google heard us talking about wrestling because now I'm getting those "Smart" ads about wrestling. XD

Yeah, but then again, theey have to make their money. I can't say I wouldn't do the same if I'm going to like a convention type thing.

You would think they would have made enough money during their careers. Like football players, even backups, should be set for life if you last so long in the NFL. Plus, they have like the best health insurance possible for free and I believe for their entire lives now under the current Bargaining Agreement.

If it were me and I wanted some extra doe, I'd have the convention pay for my services so the fans get it for free.

That's true but it's easy to go through that money especially if you're only making league minimum (which a lot of guys do). You also figure if you don't retire early/no one wants you. Let alone the concussion issues in later life.

I don't know I think if you're a star you have good money but anything less and you really mess up yout life. Though I s aw some guy was budgeting himself for the future to save and thought that was really smart.

Yeah, a lot goes into things. But still, if you're a backup, you still should be making about 1/4 to 1/2 Million Dollars each year, which is still pretty spectacular. And in you're good at money management, you should be just fine.

That's what you have to do, even if you're a big star. So many of them just blow through money to the point of it being ridiculous. Hire an accountant or something like that, and let them take care of things.

Yeaj that's just it. They don't hire the right people or have no money management skills.

Yeah. I've seen SO MANY Jim Carey Movies. LOVED Dumb & Dumber.

I'm doing good. Nothing really new, school started back up but that's about it. Trying to finish typing my novel so I can get on all those notes and then do the final touchups; on the second to last chapter. Last chapter was like eleven-thousand words, and it was really a ton of Dialog; took awhile because I wanted to sound it all out and make sure it sounded like it would in real life, you know? You ever do that?

How about you? New job come your way? Or still lookin?

Oh I more meant the scene I was talking about. And yeah, I really enjoy his movies too, even his newer stuff. He's like adam sandler to me.

That's right you''re still in school. What year are you starting? And yeah, I've done that, but the problem with it is is most of the stuff I write is in a time where modern dialogue doesn't work, so you can't just sound it out. And most any time you watch something its this kinda fake or exaggerated thing. so you have to read and you don't always get the best out of it. BUt when I do do modern setting writing, I do that. When I do the action scenes I always either do the motions myself or ask a friend or two to help. Just to make sure they flow well and are natural.

Right now I'm still looking. Got a few more offers. I turned down the two sales jobs but I don't think I would have taken them anyway really.

EDIT: Yow ouldnt happen to have a spare kyogre just laying around would you?

Yeah, I have a few. Anything specific you looking for in one? I usually just run them as Choice Scarfers w/ Origin Pulse, Thunder, Ice Beam, & Water Spout, but I've seen a few Primal Kyogre w/ Sheer Cold instead of Ice Beam.
