I just didnt have the attention to watch the NBA draft. Though I'm totally engrossed in the NHL draft tonight (and im recording it tomorrow too to watch when i get home.

emerald - I'm mainly talking about the divisions and conferences. In Aus's sports it is one whole group with no divisions/conferences, whereas in NFL the competition is split into 8 parts. For example you can have a 10-6 record and not make playoffs, while another team can have a 7-9 record and make them.

Anthony: I would watch the NHL Draft, but I have no idea who is who, much like the MLB Draft. XD

And sir michael I can understand that. THough really its not often you know who people are. Though they honestly tell you everything you need o know about hte kid so you get an idea of who they are. Personally I think the NHL does one of the better draft coverages.

Warrior - The Texans (9-7) got into Playoffs in NFL over the New York Jets (10-6) and got flogged 30-0 by a team you claimed weren't very good. Loophole indeed.

Anthony: Thats true. I personally think the NFL and NBA do the best draft coverage, though the NFL Draft as a whole makes a lot more sense since you don't have "proposed trades" because the league year hasn't already ended. lol

That, and obviously Vaporeon. ;) :P XD

Matt: Gotta love the divisional structures. lol They could always change it to the best teams getting in, but then you'll have schedule difficulties since the divisions will be sent away with. The current system isn't the greatest thing in the world, but it makes sense for today's NFL. ;)

I dont know, this NBA draft seemed pretty trade heavy. I think though you dont see those as much beccause there's not really a minor league affiliated system like there is in the NHL with the AHL and the ECHL (and in some regards the NCAA).
