| I like FFX the best so far the story and characters are better than XII even in my opinion. Did'nt like X-2 as much though FF games are not supposed to have sequals with the same characters. XII is a great game though i suggest anyone who has not got it yet to do so when they can as it is a great game. | |||

Yeah, you do that. Its a great FF game. FF X was alright, but compared to the rest of the series, its one of my least favourites. The story wasn't as great and i also dislike how they replaced the ATB system with the inferior CTB system. But i do like how you get to control the Aeon's. Well i had been a fan for a long time, and when i heard FF X was coming out, i thought "this is gonna be awesome". But i was let down by it. It doesnt even compare to the older games. And the CTB system felt like they took a step back instead of it being an improvement. I also disliked Spira in general. Instead of having a World Map like the series should have, they decided to scrap it and instead just have a world that feels like one straight path. Its way too linear for a FF game, and you dont get to control the airship anymore. All you can do is select the destination from a menu. I find that the only people who really like it are those who havent played a FF game before and didnt have anything to compare it to. As for FF XII, the battle system was all right, but a lot of people say that its too automatic, which i suppose it is. But to be completly honest, thats the only thing i actually liked about the game. The story (without spoilers) completly sucks, and the characters barely even interact with each other, and sometimes i doubt they even like each other « Last edited by Repner on 25th May 2007 » |

I found it boring. Nothing much changed in the story. FF should have excellent stories, but FF XII was just like any other non-FF story. There was nothing spectacular about it. I dont know why it even bares the name Final Fantasy to be honest « Last edited by Repner on 25th May 2007 » |
