I think normal is what the majority of the planet is like.

I don't really think there can be a "normal".

Everyone is different so being normal wouldn't really be normal. It would just be people trying to act like each other.

Everyone in the Matrix was normal. Nobody was weird besides the ones who knew they were in a computer program. I hated the 3rd one too.

I agree with ya on this. I don't think anyone is normal, but we do what we think is normal, or normal to us on a daily basis, like going to work, going to school, ect.

Yeah now that I think about it the third was just bad. I'm glad that they finally became peaceful with the machines, but it's just... not as great as the second, and nowhere close to the first.

That is normal. I mean dressing like each other and trying to act like each other. Or at least it's that way with some people. Others are delightfully entertaining to talk to, but that's beside the point. I don't even know what the point I was trying to make was.

Sweet so now I can become a serial killer and not have to worry about not being normal.

I can't imagine killing people for fun. Heck, I can't imagine killing anyone for that matter.

I just don't understand how you find something so terrible to be fun. No not you personally, just killers in general.

It's not about "fun" and it's not an easy thing to simplify. But, for the sakes of talking about the psychological workings of seriel killers, I'll add my thirty-five cents into the mix :D

Yeah; power and dominance is one reason. But conversely the lack of power and control is also another reason why people kill. From all the studies I've read (mainly through my sisters old criminal psychology text books) the most common factor was the power trip and euphoria of having someones life literally within your grasp.

Some serial killers started out accidentally killing someone (namely an abusive partner) and that rush they got from that immediate release from hell and their subsequent freedom from said hell triggered something within their psyche and it became harder nad harder to contain, until, they acted again.
