Ninth Palaver

So a member who will not be named said they were having trouble posting, so hopefully this fixes it. Besides, I wanted this since we open new ones traditionally after 600 pages. So now we have our Ninth Palaver, can we push a decade of chat?

Nice. My future father in law got me into archery this year, so he made me a leather quiver for Christmas. He also made one for my daughter which was super coot.

That's awesome. I have mad respect for people who can craft things. I learned how to make arrows. I also got a book about crafting bows/arrows for Christmas, so it would be very neat to try a hand at that too.

Yeah, i was going to make a shield for a rennascisnce fair but it didn't come together in time.

I'm okay. Definitely not an expert. I shoot instinctively with a traditional long bow.

Nice. I love how accurate you can be with the compound bows. People I see at the archery range get so into the zone while aiming. It's pretty awesome to watch them get a bullseye.

Did your school have an archery team or did you do it as a hobby?

I picked it up as a hobby and did it for probably a year or two but gave it up when life got busy and I couldn't make it out to my uncle's which was the only place I could freely shoot.
