Ninth Palaver

So a member who will not be named said they were having trouble posting, so hopefully this fixes it. Besides, I wanted this since we open new ones traditionally after 600 pages. So now we have our Ninth Palaver, can we push a decade of chat?

Mine was pretty, i watched the winter classic on tv then,relaxed. Woke up to watch the ball drop the night before.

Sorry to hear that. Horrible when it's like back to back. Happened with my grandmother and uncle in 2004. My grandmother passed on my B-Day and my uncle the following day. It was rough.

Thanks gts and sir Michael, i appreciate it. Neither were exactly sudden cause both people were in,declining health but it still stunk. It really stinks,cause one,was my great grandfather so now my grandmother's siblings are,fighting.

Sorry to hear that. Coming from a person who hasn't had even a grandparent since the age of 20, I know it can be hard.

Glad the Chiefs won. A 50 year drought is way too long for a championship.

My great uncle (whom we dubbed as our Uncle Grandpa since he was the only relative of our grandfather who passed twenty years ago) passed away on Saturday. Pneumonia. Had a good run, was either 91 or 92.

I'm good. We've all been thinking it could've happened any of these years now, especially after he eclipsed ninety. I'm just glad it was relatively quick. It was horrible to see it take my grandmother basically ten days to die after she had a stroke and was comatose (five years ago).
