Wasn't as happy they took a TE second round thought that could have waited. Mostly I'm just a bit miffed they even kept juju. They could have used that money else where with claypool and had a nice group of receivers but I guess we'll see what happens.

I like the Steelers draft. Huge upside for most of their picks. Maybe they can sign Fisher or resign Villaneauva now that the draft is over to help fill the needs of their O-Line.

Miami did well. Some people are grading them an A, but I think it was more like a B. It's a shame they didn't have a pick in the 4th, 5th or 6th Rounds, but they did well with their five picks in the Top 81. Waddle and Phillips have the potential to be Boom Picks, while Holland, Eichenberg, and Long have been more consistent throughout college. I wish we could've addressed RB and LB, but, again, hurt to not have any mid round picks.

I made a mock draft and got 12 correct Player-To-Team Picks in the 1st Round. I guess it's better to be lucky than good sometimes. I can only find one professional on any of the big websites or networks that did better than that, and that individual only had one more correct pick than me.

Yeah the Steelers definitely need o line help though I'm glad Villanueva signed elsewhere. He definitely was getting beat alot.

I think he will do better as a RT. If he does, the Ravens will have a great OL when healthy. Chiefs probably have the best OL in the NFL. Crazy thinking about where it was just a month ago.

So how was mother's day?

It was fine. My younger sister is pregnant, so she did a virtual general reveal the day before. It's going to be a girl. Due in October.

My eldest sister is also pregnant and is due any day now. We actually thought it might happen on Mother's Day, but she's got some ways to go. Gonna be a boy.

Got my mother, yes, 5lbs of chocolate. That was a trip. XD

Yah I'm good. Took my new girlfriend to her first hockey game and it was a good time. Other than that just putting in my time.

They will each officially be an aunt after this round of births, so I think I'm off the hook. ;) XD

When we meet you can bring me to my first hockey game. You'll be both of our firsts. XD XD XD

SO how's life treating you?

It's been good. Going to a wedding later this year and back to Nashville after that with the girlfriend and her mom. Gonna take her down for some Nashville hockey.

The season is also starting and it's looking fun. I'm also going to the Steelers game against the Seahawks with a friend.

Same old, same old. Working a lot. Also doing an additional project. Holiday Weekend was nice. Cousins flew up here and we had a grill out at my folks' place. Went to the theme park a couple days before that with them, which was fun. I felt old though after being abused my six year old second cousin (more like niece) who was finally tall enough ride the big roller coasters. Which she wanted to do over, and over, and over, and over.
