When you buy a video game it usually has a big hefty strong man as a protagonist. If it is a female, she is big breasted, slim maybe a little feisty but still weak. Do you think that even video games are sexist...

Like it or not the videogames are made by men for men. We all know only a few girls play them (congratz to you btw). The last game I remember with a girl as a protagonist was Heavenly Sword where she appears in the cover half-naked.

Since yall are on this subject it reminds. They are making a new Golden Axe(old game from sega) it looks cool but you can only use the amazon girl. not the hefty strong guy or the dwarf. They even through in a few "nude parts" and their excuse was "it isn't about throwing some boobs in there it was that it's in the desert and we wanted the world to seem somewhat nomadic."
As far as i am concerned if you get a game cuz it had nude girls or nude guys you need to get out of the house more. It's dumb. and yes games generally are sexist.

btw i did like the god of war games

Yeah but at the same time i was addvertising a new game coming out that i want. I played the old ones on sega so the new one is gonna rock. you can summon creatures and the dragons do both tail lash and blow fire. it said something like six creatures to summon. comes out this fall on ps3. idk if it said xbox360 to becuase i don't care about 360

i dont think games are sexist nor racist nor religionist etc... cuz its just a freakin video game, big whoop if most characters are white males & most females are half neked, if the women are half neked with big breasts, its obvious the game was made in japan cuz the japanese are perverted & the virtual whores are for the geeks that have no lyfe to pleasure themselves to.

i see sexism as one sex being cruel & unfair to the opposite sex, just cuz most games have male heroes/main characters isnt really cruel & being sexist, thats just how the story is. & if most video games are sexist, then the whole super mario bros. series is racist towards italians!!!

lol MMMEEE quite true. But you also are aware that how women are portrayed on games on TV etc can be either someones expectation of women or just pure fantasy.

im completely aware of how women are portrayed, rememebr bb, im a rapper so i do watch rap videos. those women choose to do that so that is not sexist cuz its their choice (btw, those women that choose to do that are hoes so they cant even be counted as women Evil

as for video games, the japanese are just pervy & bring their pervy culture to the U.S, U.K., & everywhere else video games are distibuted. i dont think thats expected of women. those ppl that expect women to be half neked & stuff are ignant, plain & simple!
