My sister just got me a laptop for my birthday. It's a couple of years old and refurbished, but it goes superfast. She bought it on ebay for about $150.

Oh I can imagine. A few years ago we had dial-up with a really slow provider, and it would take like 10 minutes just to go from the home T&C page here on supercheats to a separate team. It was ridiculous.

What do you need ammo for?

My computer is just like that. Think about it how many apocalypse scenarios does ammo come in handy? I will either use it or trade it for food.

KoC - What about if it's a Nuclear Fallout? There won't hardly be anyone to trade with.
Anyways, yeah I agree. I've been into this new show called "Revolution" and it's made me think about my stance on guns. While I may not approve of hunting for game, or even using a gun unless absolutely needed, I will probably (after I'm finished with college, I might even start earlier) start stockpiling things like ammo and food. Not to sound like a complete nut, I just believe in being ready for the absolute worst thing. Might be getting called crazy, but when I'm the one who has all the food and ammo, I'll be the one laughing.

Man, is it just me or do I sound sadistic?

I'm gonna stockpile ammo, gasoline, and silver. They will all be valuable in an "apocalypse".
I already have a year's supply of food. I never meant nuclear war I meant things like financial collapse, civil war, energy crisis/fuel shortage, invasion by a foreign power, and maybe just maybe a zombie apocalypse.
