Yeah, a year where individuels want certain games. Usually ranging from 4 - 10 or more. Or just a mass release of games that individuels want. Either or means basically the same.

So starting monday tehre will be a lot of games coming out?

i see i normally get maybe 3 or 4 games yearly eh it all depends

No, Monday just marks the new year (I.E 2011). so with in that year, there will be a lot of games that I'll want hince to what I call as "Game Year"

For me, it would be about 10 if I'm truely want the games. Most of them are anime games - like my room is filled with those kinds of games on the shelves.

i hav a lotta rpgs like FF an other games too I want a lot of games that look good but they only hav em in japan it saddens me

Tell me about it, Americans only get so much. Most of the released games in Japan comes in boxes that have anything from pillow cases, CD tracks, mousepads, posters, accessories, and smaller enjoyable items. Americans just get the game and thats about it, it's dull.

yea ikr! but they hav a lot of games they dont even release here too like ive played a lot of demos in japanese for some games and im like y cant this b in the US i want it!!

Profit issues, piracy, translation, ESRB rating, the content of what the game holds and along with many other reasons. Another is (probably) because the US parents worry too much about their kids getting exposed to certain things thats "far too early" for kids to see. Honestly, expose them now (around like 12 or 13, whatever floats their boats) because they're bound to be exposed to those kind of stuff in school or from mommy and daddy lol.

heck i knew bout all the bad stuff by the time i was like 8 my mom told me the stuff straight up i could play rated M games at 9 but yea ur right a lot of parents do worry and there are those issues as well like profit cuz if u made an anime game based off an anime it probably wont sell cuz a lot of americans arent big anime fans or prob wont know the anime the only exceptions to those rlly were like naruto and bleach where everyone knows it pretty much in america

Japan's game selling thrives on anime based ones. Where in America we have diversed gamers. If you go to playasia, they have so many kinds of anime based games that it's like E3 online lol.

Do not speak of Naruto and Bleach, those needs to die and end. It's been dragged out for far to long lol.

Speaking of types of games, I played everything...but there is one type that I never tried...

Types of games I played thus far - shooter,racing,rpg,adventure,fighting,action-adventure,puzzle, more but I can't remember them off the top of my head...I played all that, but never a dating sims. Don't laugh, but it sort of interests me. I wanted to know what it felt like to play one of those lol.
