i agree but it's still 9 because i said that on the last page. but, i forgot who's idea it was but maybe there could be two top tens. instead of each showing both posts and members, one can be based on posts only, and one can be based on members only. the post one shows how many posts on that team, and the member one shows how many members on that team. so it won't stretch the page.

i agree that makes 10.only the ppl i promoted post on my team,which about 40% of my team members

If it is based on posting then we just come back to the spam issue then and people just posting to make their team into the top 10.

Good point, but we have a huge issue on people advertising there team then just randomly leave right after they advertised to try to get members to get in the top 10, it drives people crazy, I think the advertising issue is bigger then what the spam issue would be, if people waste their time having crappy posts to try to get into the top 10 then I would say to them good luck with that, because if they have posts like that mods will delete there threads(and or posts)and people wont want to join there team anyway, it would hurt them in the end, and I dont think the spam issue would be as bad as the advertisment issue.

One more point a lot of the top 10 teams were created when t and c started, so people would join that team back then, and now the leaders of those teams have left, members see those teams being in the top 10 so new members join and make that team a spam fest, and since there leader is misssing noone does anything about it, my point is if you make this post count rule I think it would help a lot that way people wont go to those old teams and make it a spaming place, all in all I think the spam combined with the advertising is a bigger issue then what spam would be with the new posts system, so i think resaidens idea is perfect.

And people would still advertise just to get posts. Well look at it this way. Team Mew and Team Legends barely see the light of day. They're so dead its not even funny. But they still come out on the top 10. Due to members that spam. Look at Black Charizard. About 1/78 of all its members dont spam up the place or Flame. Its those teams with alot of members that are in the top 10 that have the most spam. Most of them didn't even work for it. Working for it is getting a quality team of over 7000 posts. They get reckognized for the many members they have that end up spamming. T&C mods do a good job of watching those teams though. Good choices.

Well I like to say My Team is #1 in the top 10 team with members. I am still here. and Mod T&C too. I clean out my team alot. by deleting alot of random post, off topic post an stuff. yes my team been there since May 2007.

Yeah speedt does a good job its other teams where the leaders are never there to fix it up.

I honestly dont think they would advertise as much as they do to get members in order to get into the top 10, and I agree on the team mew and team legends getting spammed up(specaily team mew) but whether they earned getting in the top 10 or not I dont even think is a aurgument, the aurgument is if spam would be a bigger issue, and I will admit I thing it would be a bigger issue, but I dont think advertising would be as big of a issue, I also think the fact that people go to those top 10 dead teams(there not all dead but you know what I mean)to spam would narrow the gap of more spam if we go to the new system, so as I said before the new system would not only(I think) be more fair, but also be better for the site over all.

And one more thing I agree, mods(including speedt) have actually done a great job cleaning up spam on that team, I just wanted you to know that is NOT a team I am refering to when I say some teams get spamed up in the top 10.

edit:Also someone(I forget who)said people would still advertise to get more posts, well people right now with this system still spam to get more posts, what im saying is I think if we did the new system things would even out.

No problem marielue5, I was just pointing out mine is active, an I'm active too. It was for feedback here about the top ten teams for members.

I didnt mean to offend you speedt... if I did. You do I great job with T&C moderating. I'm just saying that alot of new people who haven't read the rules go to the top 10 T&C and spam and stuff. (Thats before you catch them of course). Sorry if I made you mad :(

Here is some proof of how some teams in the top 10 are giving mods headaches, due to the fact the leader is gone, people are asking to battle in the wrong thread, advertising, just completly giving mods headaches, im not saying the mods are doing a bad job,(lol maxxy is in every link)im just saying its a big headach for them when the leader leaves, and people make the team a spaming place.

And the top teams need to be reveiwed for newer top teams. It really needs it.

No Res I didn't take anything wrong, was just adding to the topic.

On topic yes MV left the T&C, his team still there. an it does get spam off an on. 2 T&C mods been in there taking care of that team. I check it too once in awhile.

My opinion may not matter here, but I agree with Resaiden.
