Rafael looked at Luna. "Yeah. Don't worry, I'll translate. Its all she can speak, I'm afraid." THe old woman motioned to ta set table. "She wishes us to sit." He turned to the old woman, and kneeled in respect. She motioned for him to raise and walk to the table and sat down.

I know a little spanish but I'm a bit rusty

"Its no problem." The old woman walked tothe table and sat beside Rafael. She turned her head towards them and he nodded. "You can sit. I only did that becuase I know her." He waited for them to sit before continuing. "This, is Belleza. It means beauty in our language."

um so why are we here anyway

"Other than food, anyway. How do you know this Belleza, Rafael?"

((I know what you mean, Anthony. While you were introducing Belleza, I ran downstairs and made myself lunch. The lunch of kings, in fact: popcorn and sweet tea!))

((I'm back. And that sounds like a nutrious lunch, Sir Seth.))

"Well, we're here becuase I figured a nice cooked meal would be better than eating on the land." He smiled as Belleza got up to serve the food. "Just ler her do it." He said to the group. "Now, she is my "adoptive grandmtoher." She raised my father, and inturn, raised me. She was there when my parents weren't." Belleza sat back down and whipsered something to Rafael. He nodded and addressed the roup. "She wishes to say a prayer, if its okay."

its fine with me

Rafael nodded and Belleza stood up. "A todos sabía a amigos, y a los que pasaron, nosotros beben en tu memoria y te piden siempre estancia cerca."

Rafael nodded and translated. "she said, roughly translated, "To all new friends, and those who passed, we wish you stay with us.' Gracious, abuela." she nodded and Rafael nodded back. "Let us eat, my friends." He began to eat what was on his plate.

"As with me. I had wondered why you referred to her as 'abuela'".

*eats a little bit of the food*

"It simply a term of indearment," Rafael said and smiled. THey ate and when they were finished, Rafael walked toward the door. "Well, we should go. we still have a while to travel." Belleza walked toward him with his carrying bag. She handed ot to him and gave him a light kiss on the forehead.

He hugged her back. "Intentaré no para permanecer lejos como tiempo próximo largo. También, tener cuidado, Charles es caza yo. Thee justo bien, abuela, y muchas noches de la buena fortuna."

Rafael walked outthe door and a light flashed again. THere was still a few hours of daylight left.

okay so where to next

"Well, I was thinking we continue on our path toward Baronus. Unless you have somewhere you'd like to stop?" Rafael looked ather with a good hearted smile.

"I;m guessing on the way to the other town."

*Addresses Rafael.*

"Good little goodbye you gave. Another question for you. You said she raised you father. Wasn't he a vampire as well? How old is she?"

no theres not anyplace I need to stop

Rafael smiled at Seth. "Yeah. She's a vampire. her house is covered in her markings. Well, I'm about four thousand years old, give or take a century. My father was ten thousand years old. She's probably about thirty thousand, give or take. She one of the first pure-blood children. Her father is,I believe, the thrid out of our ten Vampire elders. Why, does it bother you?"

"Not at all. Just another little connection I made. She looks pretty good for her age!"

Rafael chuckled. "Yeah, though she always said once you hit twenty thousand, you go downhill." They walked until it started to grow dark. Rafael found a cave and mark it with his "R"s. "Here's a good place to stay."

*walks around the cave*
