I'm sorry, but I really don't believe it will be good. Only a handful of teenagers can write a good book.

And since when are good books always finished after a year?

It doesn't matter if it's long, it needs great description, well developed characters, a good plot, and that's only a few things I can think of at the moment.

writers take a long time to write books, espcially good ones.
ill probably get a good plot going by the summer.

I'm just saying, I doubt it will happen. All great authors normally have their books rejected the first time. Plus, the only young authors I've heard of are Christopher Paolini and some kid who writes these How To books.
