Gemstone Order

Eigth Palaver

Well... this is a bit of an odd story. I asked a friend to close the idea thread an.. well... he was kinda new. So I had to reopen this. For all those curious, this would be the chat thread.

I saw your post that you put up on Facebook, about Anonymous planning on bringing down the entire internet. And I, personally, don't believe it's true.

I don't trust the source - Tom's Guide. Nor Pastebin, the referenced site that TG used, especially considering the post was made by 'Guest' and called 'Untitled' and whatnot.
There has been nothing about this supposed attack on any 'official' Anonymous websites, including their Twitter.

And, despite the fact that some don't agree with what Anon does, it would be stupid to call the group, well... stupid. They're insanely intelligent.
Not only would they know that it would take more than shutting down those DNS servers to take the entire internet down - they'd also know that important servers like that have overflow protection. And strong OFP at that.

I call you that because I'm bad with names. I can't really remember yours.

I wouldn't doubt them trying it, either. But I don't think they're going to. Not now, at least. Or maybe my observational skills are absolute crap, and this turns out to be completely true.

I don't support them, but I don't not support them, either. I've never been personally affected by anything they've done, so I don't really care. I wouldn't ever join in on what they're doing, though.

I'm lovely. Enjoying the four day weekend I'm having from school.

Last night was crazy. Later tonight probably won't be as crazy, but I'm hoping it'll still be good. Sunday will be alright, I think. Monday will be the homework catch-up day.

How's it going for you?
