Yeah, I think Im going to. That way we can still have pokemon from the later gens like joltik (which I think might be a popular early catch), and early gen pokemon like pikachu.

Are you gonna have to make up like... wild Pokemon availability and stuff like that?

I mean.... I literally just thought of this, but there's a ton of details to these Pokemon games. Are they usually transferred over into RPs? Or how does this work?

Like i said most Rps are frommt he pokemon POV. so it kinda goes like mystery dungeon, but not really. I good example is on glais team or waffles team. both are probably the most well known and imitated/popular pokemon POV rps.

with trainer POV, its something i havent seen done in a while, but I think it will work. there will be wild pokemon, im just going to ask that its kept reasonable. like no low level salamance that you just god mod into the rp. Im gonna ask that the pokemon is found in its area it says, so if it says mountains, you dotn see a bagon just chilling in the fields or cities.

I dontk now, I'll figure something out. im trying to find a good map for it.

and i'll include a serebii link like this one into the rp so that its up to date ish and you can look up any pokemon you want.

I'd suggest just kinda browsing through here and here to get familar with the new poekmon from the fourth and fifth gens respectively.

Probably won't be happening much tonight - I'm slightly busy.
But the RP probably won't be starting tonight or tomorrow, at least. So I'll have a bit of time.

I actually like it a lot.

I can do the Photoshop work.

The easiest way to do it would be for you to use a simple program, like MS Paint, and put in some dots where you want cities. Maybe draw in some simple paths, too, though I can improvise based on city locations..
You can write the names of towns, too, or just write them here.

oka would you be able to do that? make the routes and dots for cities, as well as any major land marks? and a legend for the map so we know? then I'll think of cities for this and some other stuff?

Yes. I can easily lay out roads, towns, and landmarks. And I can do a legend.
And if there ends up being something miraculously out of my skill level, there are plenty of other wonderful artists here who may help. Or I could ask some dA friends.

Just, like I said, do a rough picture with MS Paint or something, showing the basic location of where you want individual cities and landmarks. I can improvise paths, unless you'd like to kinda draw those out, too.

Also. Do you still use any IMs or anything? Or have you gone away from those?

I mainly use my yahoo IM now, and I should but it has my last name it, so thats why I dont like to put it in my sig. then again I think my MSN one does too.

Oh I put it up there, but um, we need a name for the region, and theme for the city names. i was thinking gemstone/birthstones cause of the team, but im open to other ideas. it will help with the city names and getting the map up sooner.

Well, I can say that your MSN address doesn't have your last name in it, but I'm pretty sure I've known your last name for almost as long as I've known you. :p
But yeah, you may as well just send it to me over Facebook. I'll add you whenever I decide to next sign in. Can't now though, considering I'm using my mother's computer.

I like the idea of the region and towns being named based on gemstones. It makes a lot of sense. As long as town names aren't "Sapphire" and "Emerald" and whatever. Kinda change them up a bit, like... "Emeraldia" or something, you know?
And the region name I'd say should be something based off of the word 'gemstone' or maybe 'birthstone.'

thats... actually what I as going to do. like I was going ot have one of the bigger cities be called Sapphire city. But I can figure something out.
