well, we're gonna use the 12 birthstones as town names, including where the league will hold the tournament.

LW already gave us one for amethyst with amasi town. Im gonna call the "starter" town Garne Town. The league will hold its tournament on the Diamonia Isles.

i wanna name a forest Malachi Forest, ninetails suggested Quartz Caverns for a cave and azurite lake.

So we dont wanto to directly name the after their stone if I can help it. I already have a plan for emerald too, so thats kinda off limits.

anyway, Im gonna go to bed, so night all. I'll think about the map and lay down some basic route paths, cities, landmarks, etc and show it to all of you when I get the chance to upload it before it becomes final.

Any name disputes can, of course, be settled here.

Even though I don't have a tablet, I'm going to attempt to semi-redraw the map. Just to see if we can at least get a slightly different thing going on. The default is good, obviously, but I feel like we should change it up a little bit. :p

Alright. well, i worked on the map earlier and I'll probably work on it some more today. but send me the map you redraw. i think it looks pretty good, just the top portion could use closed off.

sure you dont want to be a trainer either, or a gym leader at least? if youre a gym leader, is more of just a one time thing or when you need it.

XD that happened to me a few days ago. it was sunny, then 20 minutes later there was this torrential downpour of rain.

anyway, im working on the map right now after I labeled most of the stuff. I'll still take suggestions, but I think this way it will be easier to do.

Pretty much all of it actually. I just have to make text boxes to explain what the symbols mean and what the numbers mean.

though i was thinking. Do you think the gym leaders should be ranked? or do you think that the person being them should just rp to the level of the challenger. like, if you want to challenge me as the "8th gym leader" you can challenge me first if youre close to me and I just scale to your level? cause I have the towns marked off that will have gyms but it means that you have to travel to them to get the badges in order.

This is just a tentative final version, its open for criticism (other than the numbers are out of order and, I realize XD). but thats what Im planning to use, and I'll update it later tonight to show where i would like to put the gyms so people can give suggestions on that too.

I would personally think it's a better idea to allow the badges to be obtained in any order, just have the gym leaders scale down their Pokemon or something.

I'll upload a re-drawn map, with the basic labels and paths drawn out (based on the map you just uploaded. I'll use a newer one if you update before I get a chance to do this).
But I won't be able to until late tonight.
I have some name suggestions as well, and we can talk those out if needed.

But yeah. I can't stay on right now. So I'll talk later. (:
