That's a good idea. I think it might be unnecessary, though. Steels are resistant to Stealth rock, and immune to Toxic Spikes. Spikes may cause problems. Also the two fires may need to get rid of Stealth Rock and stuff...

I think you should throw in Typhlosion. You'll need something with speed to strike first. Start with the Empoleon you thought of for my team, team Rapier.

You and I do think alike, don't we? I have the exact same Empoleon, and already threw in a Choice Scarf Typhlosion. The other fire is Houndoom. I put him in mainly to sponge up fire attacks aimed at my steels with Flash Fire. Also the Dark type helps. Makes him vulnerable to fighting, though...
