Over the past few months, the only thing that's managed to help me ignore it is those steroids. I was only given them for a week, though. Every twitch of a muscle brings a wave of the pain back. You think thumb tacks in your finger is bad? Try this. Carve a hole through all 3 layers of the skin on your chest, Dig your finger in the hole, and pull your skin off. Then you'll be in my position. I lean over, my skin comes off of my body and I can see under it through the holes that are open. I can see my muscles and layers of fat.

I personally find happiness in my faith, I don't know what you believe or what your situation is in life right now, but I would encourage you to base your happiness in God. If you do not, you will only connect happiness to emotion, which is ever changing. If there was no God, there would be nothing to be happy about. Life would be just one big waste of time, due to there being no definite truth. Again, I don't know what your going through, but I hope this advise helps you.
