Related to the whole planning thing, here's the way it all worked out, in recap, for the whole tournament when Team Urameshi fought:

Match winners in bold. Champion team when Dark Tournament finishes: Team Urameshi

Anything anime related that I watch, I'm most likely the go-to guy for info in it. One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball / Z / GT, etc. Especially if you plan on making a Role Play out of a certain segment of it.
