That battle is good as it is personal to Balthier but it doesnt get you much. For your troubles you get 5100 gil and a Mega elixir or whatever its called! O_O

vaans at 12, balthier is 12, and bashe is at like 13 or 14.

plus i just recently descovered the awesomeness on the poles. i am using the oaken pole for vaan right now.

Yeah he becomes a hunt later on.

I always ran at that point. I never tried to kill them. Apparently its a hard battle and they are quite higher levelled than you. The idea is to actually run. Its almost like a tutorial on running away...drooool Balthier..rawr.
