Nick does annoy me, it wasn't my idea in the first place.

This is why I don't RP.

I do find it funny how teams and clans have worked out. I remember when I joined SC back in 07, I started a team and all of SC was caught up in Pokemon. All we did was battle, trade, and host tourney's. It was just like this team except with a different identity, in fact, all of SC had a different identity. The Pokemon forums were the most active forums here, and one out of every two members that joined were Pokemon fans. We would come here every other day to battle and see what our new teams had to offer. DB knows what I'm talking about, all of SC was wrapped up in battling. It's funny to see how know ones left from that group, and how Teams and Clans have formed into Roll Playing.

Okay, to further add on what I said, people mostly use love because it is a quick, easy way to make a "friend" and has few drawbacks. Impressing a female character isn't as hard as say, waiting months to tell the female character you like her. The main problem I see here is that it overcentralizes the RP. I'll relate to Competitive Battle; Latias used to be OU (the highest normal tier) but got moved to Uber again (basically, the banned tier) because it was centralizing the game in such a way that people needed to always but one out of a few specific pokemon on their team. The same thing happened with Garchomp, every team needed to be prepared for it and have a counter or else they lost.

It centralizes the RP and brings down the number of real RP'ers to very few. Another thing I see is that when a story doesn't involve someone's specific character, they tend to stop RP'ing all together.

I remember always trying to beat PD40 and how S_M just owned all of us normally, lol. Good times, good times.

....Crap. I had so many stories saved up... and I've apparently deleted the folder... that was a few months worth of work and all to pull out when the Rp needed it....

*A small light appears in the middle of a vast field right next to a small town. The light quickly forms into the shape of a raichu and solidifies roughly 10 feet off the ground. Sam yelps a little as she falls to the ground, landing on her back. She lays there groaning. The fall made every one of her joints pop loudly. Coughing a little and holding her back, she gets to her feet and looks around.*
Sam-" Daddy...? Where are you?"
[i]Derek- I'm here Sam. I'll be here the whole time... but this is for you to see alone. I'm going to show you three events that have happened in my life that I would rather forget. Each is slightly worse than the last. Today, I want you to follow my past self around. See what happens to me and Maria. I only ask that you stay out of sight. Its best if they don't see you right now"
Sam-" O...kay daddy... I'll do that"
*Immediately, she recognizes the town near the field as the one her parents grew up near. A Peliper flies over her head and towards the Peliper Post Office sitting atop a cliff overlooking the ocean. A tall cliff with a waterfall coming off the side of it sits to the north of the town. Off to her left, she sees a small hut. As she approaches the hut, she can hear yelling coming from inside. Quickly and making as little noise as possible, she hides in a pile of logs that are laying on the side of the hut and listens to what's going on inside. Loud, strained grunts can be heard*
PDerek-" MARIA! Get your DRUNKEN BUTT UP! Its time to go you lazy mouse!"
*The only response Sam can hear is loud snoring. Within a minute, She sees a Torchic come outside the door of the small house, dragging a small bed made of hay with a sleeping Pikachu on it outside with his beak. There's a large lake not far from the house. He's dragging her towards it while grunting from the strain of pulling her weight. Eventually, he gets her to the lake and lets the bed float on the water. With a kick of his foot, PMaria and the bed she's floating on drift off towards the center of the lake. While chuckling to himself under his breath, he spits a red hot ember into the air, making it land on the bed and set it on fire. PMaria keeps snoring loudly until there isn't enough of the bed left to keep her afloat anymore. With a sudden scream, she plunges into the frigid water of the lake. By now, PDerek is rolling on the ground beside the lake, laughing his butt off. It doesn't take long for PMaria to make her way back to shore and get out of the water. Bits of grass and dried leaves that were floating onto of the water cover her fur, making her look dirty.[/spoiler]

That was 2KB worth of a story. I had at least 75KB worth of that story... most of it just disappeared.

This... like, really sucks.

That took me a month to type out! DX

Yeah, I'll get around to it eventually. My longest post on SC was about 47,000 characters.... this thing had to be at least 300,000 characters. It's going to take me forever.
