see thats the thing no one outside of state college truly understands the truth they only know what the media puts out, paterno was not a bad guy, he did exactly what he should have he told his superior. I knew paterno personally and he was a wonderful man and he did more for the university than anyone else.

Im sorry, but whiel I dont go to the college, I do understand what Paterno was to PSU and more importantly the power he had. he should have done more, especially when it was obvious they werent doing anything. If he truly cared for the kids, and did what anyone should do in the situation, he should have went higher. if I see someone doing what sandusky did, i could tell my mom, but if she wants doing anything, id naturally go to the police because clearly something has to be done.

... But I dont wnat to have this argument. I have it enough with the people at my own school who say they only came here as a second choice after denied by PSU nd I have much higher opinions about you then I have about any of them.

and yeha, but I mean like... like how RMU is the school of accountancy, and its still known as one of the premier accounting schools in the city/nation/world. I still think that like, 80% of PSU is farming even though I know thats ridiculous.

yeha im tired of the whole arguments about it too its nuts cuz no one can truly know for sure what happened lets be honest? and i hafta lol when people say they got denied XD i barely passed my high school and got in with like a 2.6 gpa

and PSU is still a lot of ag but their engineering program is big too.

I really doubt that, you seem way too msart to be bare passing with a 2.6

thats what I hear most people taking when they say they graduated from PSU. I know RMU is is getting a pretty good nursing program recently, and we're doing well in other business related professions. But accounting is what we're know for.

yep totally passed high school with like a 2.7 gpa...i was really lazy XD

yeah engineering and ag are the 2 biggest things at psu so for some majors they had to crack down like mechanical engineering they only take so many their junior and senior years and you need a 3.00 gpa by the end of your second year or you cant do that as your major

ah, i see. Im not sure what we do at RMU about that. Im sure we take a bit of a lx standard on the nursing to get it bigger, but fromw hat ive heard no one came into RMU with less than a 2.5, and they hadnt decided yet.

well psu you need a higher one but cuz of where i went to high school im practically garanteed entrance

I take it they had some really deep connections?

well my high school is right here on the main campus of penn state so its logical?
