No not yet, you don't have the skills to become a mod yet, and it's not just something that you can ask to be. First you have to have 30 posts or more in the area that you want to mod, then you have to apply. When there is a spot open for a mod you will see a link that says " Apply for Mod" then when you post your application you will get an e-mail that says whether or not you go the part. I'm still trying to become a mod, it's all about timing my friend. So what I would suggest that you do is post around in the teams for a while and let people get to know you. You have to have a statement saying why you should become a mod in your application so start gaining experience so that when the time comes you will have something to show for it. Acctually that is a bad idea for now, I tryed the same thing and nobody knew me that much so not very many people joined. What I would suggest is to hang out around the teams and post often and slowly but surely you will make lots of friends, and that is the best time to create your own team. See, if you make a team now, nobody will join because nobody knows you. The most successful teams are run by those known by many. So just wait for a while and get to know people, I'm still trying to get prople to join my team and I know lots of people so it takes a lot of time. When lots of people know you, they will join your team to give their support. See, if you beg people to join, they will join but nobody will post because they don't know you, so wait untill you have lots of frinds and then create a team. Always glad to help.

ya very well said. u shouldn't make 30 posts and just apply. wait until u've been here for awhile and find an area u wanna moderate. mods can only moderate forums, super mods can moderate teams, and admins can do much more.
