Eigth Palaver

Well... this is a bit of an odd story. I asked a friend to close the idea thread an.. well... he was kinda new. So I had to reopen this. For all those curious, this would be the chat thread.

it expires sept 15th. so they have to reach a new one before that or you could ptoentially take games out of the season.

and I understand lady jo. i have to do the same for my sister thogh Um more of a delivery service for my mother the way she has me get everything for her when she neds something.

What is the agreement about?

Sorry if that's a stupid question, but i'm not exactly what you'd call "knowledgable" about sports xD

neither am i key...you hit the puck with the stick and try to get in the goal. That's about all I know.

yup it's ok though. I don't mind too much driving places.

hey sir gerardo. nice to see you again. how are you?

I kinda do kinda dont. it depends.

and its basically about revenue sharing beetween the owners and players. and since only like a few teams make mad money they have to support other teams that dont really so even fewer actually make decent profit. players want more, owners dont really want to give it to them cause its less gthey'll have and its just a mess realy. though it would help if they werent putting hockey markets in places it doesnt need to be (like columbus, phoenix, and one of the new york teams isnt drawing crowds any more).

they do but they dont. im not quite sure how it all works, but that seems to be the gist of it. I dont know. basically though if they dont ge things agreed on and it goes into the regular season (which starts in early october) there could be a lock out and games will be missed and some palyers may go to other leagues to play.

and hi everyone. Im good. whats new/
