Eigth Palaver

Well... this is a bit of an odd story. I asked a friend to close the idea thread an.. well... he was kinda new. So I had to reopen this. For all those curious, this would be the chat thread.

yeah, well, members who posted alot left, which I knew they would eventually. there's some still around, and Im glad for it, I really am. just not getting members to replace the old ones. BUt i never really worried about it. to be honest this team lasted way longer than I thought it did, so thats something to be proud of and what the team has done.

Yeah. I suppose your right. I just remember when this place was booming. There were times I couldn't keep up with the posts. It's sad to see the teams this empty.

Hey z. Long time no see.

Been drifting in and out of Supercheats. Things have been super stressful since around Halloween. Right now my grandma has to heave heart surgery, my brother came up for Christmas and and something happened not sure what which caused him to go home without stopping to see some family. Other then that I'm happy mainly cause of the new Pokemon game.

Sorry to hear that. Hope everything works out there. I'm hoping these games are going to be good. After b/w2, I was a little disappointed.

Really? I loved gen 5. I'm a little wary of the whole game being 3D since I've been playing Pokemon since the start. I think the trainer looked better as a sprite.

I liked black and white. But the sequels were a little underworked in my opinion. The trainer was definitely better looking as a sprite.

Eh I liked them which is all that matters. Gen 4 was the one that almost lost me.

I liked them. They just weren't my favorite. never even beat gen 4. The movement was to slow. The new region and Pokemon were great. But the game itself was... Substandard.

There was only a handful of Pokemon I liked that gen. Game didn't seem as fun as it could of been.

It was just hard to get into. They almost seemed like prototypes for these new generation games.

It really would explain why the game didn't feel right to me.
