I didn't even notice any animation in it.

I was trying to make that image blend in smoothly with a list of other images that make up a new Expert box for the main site. But, I couldn't get the CSS/HTML to work with me. If I can't do it, I'm not even going to bother asking Mark to try.

I swear I'm the only Animation retarded on on this site o_o

DO you have like a copy of SC html/css or something?

Well, lets start at the top.

The Charset doesn't really affect the page all that much. It just tells your browser what coding there is in the CSS document.

The /* and */ tags are comments. Whatever's inside of them doesn't activate any code at all. They're used to contain comments for anyone who may be reading the document.

*{ margin:0;}

^That is the most important CSS code, imo. That makes it to where there's no margin of white space between the edge of your browser and the actual site page itself. Makes everything look clean.

body{ background:#151515 url(../images/body-bg_black.jpg) center top no-repeat; font-size:12px; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#eeeeee;}

^That designs the body of the HTML document. That gives it a grey background, the sunburst image you see in the background, a font size of 12 pixels as default to anything on the site, a font family of Arial so it's easy to read, and a font color of off white.

As you go down, the selectors (First word after a hash or period) start to get hash symbols before them. That means it affects things that have stuff like... id="vgnbanner" in the HTML document itself. All of that vgn banner stuff simply designs that black bar you see at the top of the main site and forums - The one that has... well the videogamer network banner image up in the top right.

The real juicy stuff is after that. The stuff right below the /*Common*/ tag. That designs all the pretty stuff on SC. It makes the links orange, turns them blue when you hover over them, makes sure everything has a clear margin around it so it can be read, blah blah blah.

After that, it's strictly classes. The ones that start with things like .sm_box_left are meant for the HTML documents to grab. Like that one would affect any HTML tag that has class="sm_box_left" in it.

Links don't usually turn blue when I hover the mouse over them, though. ._.

I've been to lazy to learn it directly but I know how what general thing everything is referring too. We had a student from Madagascar who graduated this year who would easily type in ti when doing web pages.

Well, that's because you're in T&C most of the time. Those CSS elements aren't plugged into T&C quite yet. T&C needs a lot of updating.
