I think there needs to be an alteration to the member's powers in the forums. I don't think they should be able to delete the first post in a thread if they made it. It's given me problems more than once before.

Then make a topic on that, Pollo. Makes sense to me.

I'm just wondering about one thing. Should I suggest that if they are going to delete the first post that it deletes the thread as well, or is that a bit much? Members can only delete a post in the forums if it's been made within the past 24 hours, so they would only have 24 hours to delete a thread.

To be honest I don't think deleting the whole thread deal is a good idea unless the thread was a mistake.

That's the idea. The option to delete a post was put up in case anyone made a mistake post. Same deal could be said with the mistake thread. :S

Same here. I suppose giving the option to delete a mistake topic should be granted, but only within the 24 hours.
