No, I don't have to work till Wednesday morning. But man, I nearly threw up today at work. Smelling that grilled chicken cook is like smelling a turd that's been dropped in hot grease. It's horrible. x_X

Sorry to butt in, but crap. I just had McDonalds chicken today :(

I can never eat there since it has trans fats. .-.

I actually enjoy the food; I just don't think I would if I saw how it was made.

So did I. I stole about 10 nuggets from the tray. Admittedly they're good. :D

I can tell you all you'll need to know about that place. Avoid any burgers there. The small 10:1 patties that are used on the Big Mac and all are undercooked at best. The 4:1 that are used on the quarter pounders are old, because they don't go through that many of them. The Angus burgers sit in the holding slots for 4 hours or more.

Stick to the chicken and salads. The salads are kept in a refrigerator, so they're pretty fresh. The chicken, even though it's all fried, is still pretty clean and well done, seeing as it all cooks for about 4 minutes as opposed to the patties, which cook for 38 seconds. The grilled chicken sits in a thin layer of hot butter, so it's always moist and fresh. It may smell like turd when it's cooking, but it's still good.

tl;dr - Avoid the burgers, stick to the chicken.

I don't like McDonald's burgers because they come with onions and if you don't want onions you have to request they be taken off, which takes forever. Never had salad from there. I'm more of a Burger King guy for burgers.

But nothing is tl;dr after that rant I just wrote in Crossy's D&D topic.

I don't see why it would take forever to get onions off. I mean, the burgers aren't made until you order them. All of the supplies just sit in a drawer, box, or on a cart up until the point the people in the back get your order.

There' a few warmer drawers full of meat that the cook has to keep filled, but that's about it. 32 regular patties at any given time, 8 quarter pounder patties at any given time, 4 angus patties at any given time, and a crap load of chicken in different drawers.

Once they get the order, the person to the right of the assembly table toasts the buns in a conveyor belt machine, and gets out the wrappers. He places the wrappers down in front of the guy in the middle, who's in charge of putting all the cold stuff like onions, pickles, and cheese on it. The final guy on the left puts the meat on the burger, then wraps it before sliding it down the table to the front.

If you don't want onions on it, then the middle person just doesn't add them.
