The Psychiatric Ward

In my experience at my local McDonalds, it always seemed to take longer to not have onions. Eh, whatever. A fast food burger is a fast food burger.

One thing I did notice though is that the same exact order - 2 ten piece chicken nugget meals with mediums fries and a medium coke with each, is $2 more at Wendy's than McDonalds. Maybe it's because Wendy's has the "natural cut fries"

Oh man, fries are a pain. They're so strict about how long the fries can be left waiting before they're sold. Once you finish cooking them, you have to sell them within 4 minutes, or else throw them out. I've seen so much food get thrown away it's ridiculous. x_X

Oh, and I love employee discount at McDonald's. I can get two chicken sandwiches for under a dollar. <3

Hell, if I really felt like pushing it, I could just make my own sandwiches, then walk out and get them for free. <333

4 minutes? They can't go bad that quick. Just warm them up.

How is McDonald's with taking food from there as an employee? Any penalties?

It's not so much about them going cold as much as it is them getting soggy and sticking together. You ever notice how McDonald's fries are always crisp, salty, and straight? That's because they sell them within 4 minutes of them being made. Any longer and the grease would soak in and make them soggy.

They'll probably get onto you and dock your pay if you do it in front of the manager, and take a lot of food.

I like them kind of soggy :/

Then let them sit for a few minutes. They'll get there eventually. :D

;_; Why can't people start ordering more apple pies? I've worked at that place for over a week, and so far, only one person has bought an apple pie. Those things put off such a strong smell of cinnamon and sugar that it momentarily masks the smell of cooking meat and makes everyone's day just a little bit better.

But then they get cold :(

And I've never gotten an apple pie. Or any desert. I'm usually too full from the meal.

Are they good? I'm not much of an apple pie person.

Compared to regular apple pie they are probably not that good

McDonalds has great deserts. I could pig out on their apple pies all day. :D

I saw the most beautiful thing in the back of the store today when I was going to get some more nugget boxes. It was a massive clear plastic bag filled to the brim with hot fudge topping. It was as big as my torso, and made me drool. @_@

Stop eating the food, then. Seeing how it's prepared should turn you off.

It does, in a way. I'll not buy any burgers there anymore, but I'll gladly buy the chicken. All of the chicken is cooked and prepared great.

Well me too. In fact, I'll probably hit up McDonald's tomorrow with my buddy.
