Dark Breloom said:Top 10 reasons why PXE is NOT like SC.

1. The suggestion of a porn forum at SC would be met with "Post Deleted. This is a family website Derpington, we'd appreciate if you did not post such vulgar suggestion. That sounds like fun, we don't do our fun that way, rather we prefer in a controlled manner. It's better that way". The suggestion of a porn forum here is met with such quips as "Make the blowjob section first" and "Nikki do some self-shots" and even "Oh ****, I'm going to have to make another account that says I'm 18 so I can go on there".

2. Saying '****' or any vulgar word on SC get's the fun police sodomizing you with their baton of dull. Swearing on PXE is pretty much like using punctuation in your post. It generally sucks **** without it.

3. SC has fifty-bazillion members, a majority are young n00bs who post for help in Dragon Wars in GC because they are too ******* stupid to read. This means that it's not as enjoyable as you simply feel like one of many drowning in the sea of dipshits. PXE has a much more compact, tight-knit community. Less forums means it's easier to NOT get lost in the millions of noobs. We all know each other, and you feel like you are part of the minority, as opposed to the faggy majority.

4. SC what, 3 incredibly basic skins to choose from? For a website boasting its' size, it's a pretty ****-boring looking forum. PXE boasts 8 forums with appealing graphics, to suit to every persons wants and needs.

5. Our admins actually contribute to conversation, and can have a laugh. They are able to chill out and have a good time, but when it comes down to it, they know when srs business is necessary. A pretty good balance that SC seems to lack.

6. PXE offers greater freedom of expression, whereas the constant abundance of rules, and the members who like to remind you of them, severely inhibit a persons ability to be themselves on the forum. SC and it's rules can often do that.

7. PXE also boasts the best members that left SC after recognizing what has been mentioned above. To SCs credit, it probably groomed the members we call our own into some of the best and experienced forum goers on the web, who understand and know how forums work, due to their experiences. As a result of this, PXE is free of crappy posts by inexperienced forum goers 99% of the time. Obviously it can't be perfect all of the time, but I can't even remember a time when it was not.

8. PXE has a suggestions/problems forum, as does SC. The difference here is that suggestions or problems in the PXE forum are taken more seriously, and are actually addressed to. Countless topics in the SC suggestions/problems forums sink into oblivion, and never even get a look from some one who can help them. This could be due in part to our smaller community as noted above, but then again we don't have 10+ Supermods/Admins.

9. Sarcasm, trolling, etc. doesn't go down well with SC. Everything seems to be taken as fact, thereby severely disabling any hope of comedic hilarity in one of these forms. PXEs loosened grip on the rules allow these things to happen, therefore creating a more enjoyable and humorous posting experience.

10. The word community, I've used that a lot. It's a word I don't generally associate with SC. It seems more to be a whole lot of discussion, whereas PXE offers the great community sense, and the discussion. The lack of community at SC means interest dwindles quickly. The same batch of members that frequent SC now are most certainly much different to the ones that frequented two years ago, or even a year ago, or even as little as six months ago. PXE is approaching the three year mark, and a large majority of the members who joined PXE in the first year are still here to these days. We've gained great members during the three years, but the likes of Vee, Nikki, Myself, Lukie, Nate, Ben, Zalt, etc. have been here the whole time. And what's keeping us here as opposed to SC? Community, the one major thing SC lacks.

cool story bro.

9 Should be taken more heavily cause that is what causes sites to go downhill, So I think SC is doing a good job.

I actually agree with Kimmy, I just couldn't help but being sarcastic in response. It felt like the right moment to do it. :D

So, as you can see I'm back and missed all of probably 4 posts tops. :/

That was a fun day. Went to work, and then told me I didn't have to be there today.
So I went to church instead. :D

Either way, I get more hours from now on. ^_^
Next week, I work three days. 3.5 hours the first day, 6 hours the next, and 6 hours the last.

I hope you get more pay for working more hours?
Though, I know that's not always how it works. :/

I get paid 7.25 per hour. After tax, that's about 6 bucks an hour. If I'm working 15.5 hours next week, that means I get almost 100 bucks. <3

What makes it better is the manager that heads all the places in town. Whenever we meet up and he discusses something with a bunch of people, he closes us in prayer before we leave. <3

Crew Member < Trainer < Assistant Manager < Manager < General Manager

Crew Member is the new guys, such as myself. Trainers are the people who train the Crew people. Assistant Managers govern the trainers, as well as work up front a lot. Managers head the individual stores and make up their employees schedules. General Manager, who's the guy I'm talking about, heads all of the places in town and keeps watch over the managers.

Oh, I thought you meant more than just the McDonald's stores. XD

My dad's a boss like that, but he's a few steps higher - he's the market director for a place called Bruegger's Bagels, and he basically runs all of the bakeries in the state of Michigan.
I think it's either a step or two up from General Manager. :/

Sounds like he should be pulling in good money.

And I want to be a trainer already. I like their red shirts and increased wages.
