That's just sad, Pollo. First of all, you're right. One of the reasons I don't post too much in the forums, outside of forum Games, is because I full well know that I'm going to be met with the behavior you're describing. I care about this place having a friendly atmosphere, but in all honesty I'm too intimidated by what everyone else tries to make the norm to do anything about it.
Because of that, I hope we can get this resolved, because you're one of the better role models here when you have to be serious - and it would be a shame to see a better role model leave the site.

I'm gonna be frank, Derek, I respect you, but I haven't seen you do a damn bit of moderating, and you sure as hell aren't "friendly." Now, I may be wrong, you could be doing a shitload in forums, and frankly, I don't care, that shouldn't excuse your behaviour, if you don't like someone, then you shouldn't run around voicing your own opinion as being the greatest. If you leave, it makes no difference to me. But if you believe that this place needs to be improved, then do something about it, be a good person, and quit being the *** you are, start pretending. Now, you'll probably have a fair bit to say to me, I'm all ears, but quit acting like you're the best damn moderator ever, because you aren't.

I have to agree with Shay's statement.

eminem you don't seem to understand he is trying to do stuff that will help improve things.

Okay I want people to stop, Derek might have his flaws but I know we all do, he puts more time into helping this site out when it comes to programming in his super mod status. I have heard and seen some of the stuff that staff has pulled on here....and I have my own opinions of the staff members, and reasons on why stuff is happening the way it is on this site. i won't give them out here cause there could be eyes watching and frankly I won't want to listen to them complain about what i have to say.

I only say that because i don't need someone putting down Derek. Especially since I know half of what he has done on this site to help improve it.

Okay, look. I'm a simple member too, and I rarely know what I'm even doing here. Derek does try to help the site, and I honestly don't know why everyone's trying to convince you. You will see it, and then you can believe whatever you want - but I already said what I think, and I think that we don't need all the drama I see starting from the conversation we're having right now. We can have ideas. We all can execute ideas. But now isn't the time to argue as to why or why not we should like someone, it isn't the time to point out what they're doing right or wrong. What I'm trying to say is that this arguing is pointless. That arguing is always pointless. If we continue on this path, more problems are going to arise.

Go ahead, say what you want - Z, Kimmy, Tycho, anyone else reading this who might want to comment - everyone's entitled to their opinion. But if this topic blows up in our faces later - if people get mad and say things they regret later - don't say I didn't warn you.

Not arguing just pointing stuff out thats all.

When ideas clash, I consider it an argument. When an argument happens, I consider it to be pointless-useless-and utterly avoidable. And when that happens, I simply state my opinion and then leave others to work it out. Their conflict is not my problem - even if they don't see it as said conflict.
