Anyways, hi Nikki. So I'm playing some FFVII on the PSP, and I wanted a Gold Choboco so I can get the Knights Of The Round Materia, but, I CAN'T EVEN BREED A BLUE ONE! Seriously, all I ever get is yellow, and occasionally another female green. I got a female blue, once. I probably should have not restarted my game from there, but I think I threw my PSP across the room by then.

Anyways, if you have any advice for this travesty, please give.

You talking about the original FFVII? They have that on the PSP?

Crikey I remember that the chocobo breeding took forver and was a sodding nightmare.

I always say save before breeding, as the gender of the chocobo will always vary. The stats need to be good (the racing stats..make sure you get their class as high as possible) You need a carob nut then you have to mate a green with a yellow. To get the blue. If it doesnt work then you either need to up the racing stats or throw the PSP out.

Remember sylkis greens are the best for feeding your chocobo before you race em. And remember the mating of the yellow was one great chocobo with one good chocobo.

Great Female (B class racer) + Good Male (B class racer) + Carob Nut = Green Chocobo

Good Female (B class racer) + Great Male (B class racer) + Carob Nut = Blue Chocobo

Blue Chocobo (A class racer) + Green Chocobo (A class racer) + Carob Nut = Black Chocobo

Black Chocobo (A class racer) + Wonderful Chocobo (A class racer) + Zeio Nut = GOLDEN CHOCOBO!

seems simple..hahaha yeah I know its not.
