How much have you borrowed so far, Kim?

lets see...its 24,000 a year at the college....i will be going for 3 years now....I'll end up probably end up having to pay back...somewhere along, 90,000 something like that.

... Ouch. All I have to say. Is that a normal price for student loans?

My school is a bit different. Each college hour costs exactly 100 dollars. Each class counts for about 3 or 4 college hours. This semester, I took 3 classes, and paid somewhere around 1,000 dollars. Gladly, I did well enough last semester to get a federal grant. Those classes are free for me, and I still have another 1,200 dollars left over in the grant. I keep doing well, and I won't even have to use my student loan.

student loans work with the college.....each year it cost 24,000 to go to becker. I have a award i get each year that gives me 12,000 off of that, as long as I do good, so its probably less that 90,000 since my loan doesn't cover books and such, I use my own scholarship money to buy books, supplies and software that i need. I have about 1,400 in scholarship money I could used.

That still sounds like a lot, Kimmy. I feel sorry for you.

well if i can get a job and start saving up some money it won't be a problem for me. I don't have to start paying the loan off until 6 months after a finish college...so I have that time to start saving up so that i will be all set when I start the payments. This is another reason i told my mom I ain't getting a credit card.

I'm here for about an hour or two before the kid wakes up ;)

Oh, you're right on that one. A credit card would be a terrible thing in addition to how much money you already need to pay.

ya and with me paying off this loan i don't need to be paying of something that never goes down...

Yes Derek, but I just got paid since the father came home for a few minutes, meaning as soon as the mother gets home, I can leave :D
