Flies to the lake in his region. THe lake seems to shine at his arrival. He dives in and falls to the bottom, not breathing. Above him, the lake freezes over, not opening for anything. He slips slowly into unconsciousness before finally blacking out.

Rafael opens hhis eyes and is confronted by his father. "Rafael, why have you come here?"

Rafael falls and bows on his knee to his father. "Father, I have disgraced our race. I couldn't kill an innocent to ascend to a pure-blood level. I couldn't save two people without help. Father, I have shamed our family name. I ask, no, beg your forgiveness."

Luke looked upon his son. "Raise, for you have done no such thing. Youare more powerful than you realize. You fought off the temptaion to bcome pure-blood. You rescued two with minimal help. I could not do so until I was seven thousand. Have faith my son, for you are strong."

"But, how am I to beat Black. Ka has decreed I do so."

Luke placed a hand on his son's head and it glowed. Rafael felt a sudden rush of power. "There, you now have what you need. Now go and protect your friends." Rafael nodded and starting blacking out again. He fell unconscious.
