I just realized how much I am against Derek going Admin. Based on the fiasco last night, I'm afraid he'll abuse his power to those he doesn't like.

Derek doesn't let personal vendettas get in the way of his staff actions. Since Derek is this team's chief, he has the yay or nay on who joins. I'm all for him getting Admin? Mainly because he could help teams.

That doesn't seem like an abuse of power, it seems like it was a fair decision.

And yeah i have to agree with Fluffy, Pollo would probably be more into the teams and forums than the other Roots.

You know, there's always been a problem with this stuff that I've never said in the forums. Rich doesn't exactly trust me. Not enough to be Root - he probably never will. I applied for a root position with a nicely written application back in late December of last year - Just a few months ago. I even offered to work for free. He turned me down in a very nice way - He said he just couldn't afford anyone else, and he didn't want to take advantage of people by letting them work for free. I'm only going to post parts of these conversations.

That's the only time Rich has really gotten on my nerves. Also the only time I've said anything other than polite things to him.

The chances of me becoming Root are slim at best. He just doesn't want anyone else, despite me wanting to really help this place. I doubt I'll ever even see Forum Admin with all the stuff that's happened. It's odd too. Ever since that Vicar joke, I've found that I just don't care anymore. I find half the stuff Geezer, Xeta, and the others say funny. A year ago, I took everything as an insult, or some other crap. I used to be uptight and trying to get everyone to play rainbows and cloud cakes. I honestly couldn't care less what the people here do now. I've probably turned into your average Smod. I guess my activity will fall off soon since I don't care about much here anymore.

Hmmm... I know this is probably a rude thing to say (depending on how you look at it) but people who say their activity will fall off soon usually means they will stay on for about 3 months or less then quit entirely. So, I have a question,Pollo,If you quit whose going to run the Pokemon Brawl next year. :3

To be honest, i thought, and still do think that Pollo is the only Smod who deserves his spot. He's the most active member, he is one of the Top Posters in Teams as well as in the Forums, and he is the best Non-Root Submitter for the site.

Now i do understand that activity isn't all that matters as being a Mod, you need to have the know how, a good attitude, and good judgement skills. Pollo has all of that as well... Gawd i feel like such a suck up right now. Honestly, i think most people don't like him because he managed to do in 1 - 2 years what most people here haven't been able to do their whole time of being a member, and that's become successful.

I hope if you do leave Pollo, that you come back every so often.
