@_@ I wish people would IM me more. Whenever I get a message, my whole laptop glows bright blue.

;-; It's a pretty blue, but I think it may be broken. When I got it 4 days ago, the right arrow key and the 4, 5, and 6 keys on the keypad to the right weren't working. I thought I was overlooking some kind of option that cuts them on, but I'm beginning to think they're just flat broken. Apparently Alienware laptops come with things broken all the time...

I heard Alienware was pretty good... Guess not.


I feel accomplished for being able to understand/rewrite that letter.

I'm guessing due to money situations you couldn't get another one so you had to choose a laptop that was within your price range at the moment and so soon, if you wanted one right away.

Like i said when it comes to that letter, i didn't think a letter started PMDS....goes to show how much I know ._.;

You do know Alienware is one of the most expensive laptops out there? '-__- The lowest price is like a 1,000 bucks.

then why would something that cost so much come with stuff that is so broken, it would make it cost more money to get it fixed...that isn't exactly a good thing i don't think and yes I'm not familiar with that cause i haven't heard of laptops or brands like that.

Lowest price I saw was 1,400. Not that I had to worry about that. I paid 3,400 for my laptop. :D

Alienware laptops are specifically designed for gaming, so they have a lot of the really expensive parts like the most recent video cards and the like. Plus, they're custom made, so that racks up the price tag right there. That's probably why they've got so many problem.

that actually does look cool, I like the glowing and stuff around the keys it makes the computer as a whole look really really nice, but it still a bit bothering if you bought it and it comes with problems.

and ah, so that explains a lot with the gaming and stuff it you want to get the full gaming experience from something.

And I'm sorry this is just me...i don't think I would pay 3,000 dollars for a laptop (whether for gaming or not) I'm happy with my 1,000 dollar HP laptop which can be used for gaming as well(but probably not as good as that one of course cause it doesn't come with those parts) but i got one that was more fit with my video editing and a few other games i play and its good built in audio system is awesome as well.

._. Dawg. That's a small laptop. The screen is only 14 inches. Mine's almost 19.

But it's portable...

My laptop has a 17 inch screen, which was bigger than my dell, and also has a finger scanner there so i can scan my finger to log into stuff, and it works great when it comes to my video editing and stuff with great audio and stuff like that.

Yeah, good point. This thing is only semi portable. It'll squish your nuts if you put the laptop on your lap - It weighs a freaking ton, and I know why.

Most likely a bigger battery to keep the thing from giving you third-degree burns and to actually have the thing power all the different crap welded inside for a sustained period of time and run the 70 fans to keep it from turning into a pool of molten metal.
