But, why? I don't feel it right to reclaim Admin status. Maybe to break disagreements between you and Will, but that's insufficient.

And no, the Daycare isn't until post-game. I remember hearing it was in Route 4, or so my brother thought. But then I beat the game before him and learned it is still in Route 3. The Skyarrow Bridge is still blocked for some reason until after the Champion is defeated. If I read Japanese, I'd tell you the reason. heh

Eh, it doesn't matter if you do or not. You're not all that active, so it might cause problems since Rich just said he was going to boot Volke and Test for inactivity...

And I don't disagree with Will. I talk it out, and if he keeps being stubborn, I call him some dirty name and drop it.

Dang getting shinys early in is going to be a problem then.

Activity is a matter of perspective. Just like the debate a few years ago in the Super Mod forum. Some say activity is posting constantly. Others say it's visiting frequently. But it comes down to what the owner of the website defines it as. I don't visit because I don't have much to talk about. Black 2 and White 2 coming out changes everything. Until everyone else catches up, I'm (again) the main source of knowledge without going to Serebii. Heh

Shiny pokemon are easier to get now. Once you catch EVERYTHING in the pokedex (National, exclude event legends), you get the Shining Charm. It increases the chances of shiny pokemon appearing.

Okay, to give everyone a fair chance, I've asked Mark to knock up some moderating stats...

... Who is this Yogi_Bear - He's not really modding much, is there a suitable replacement.

Also, most likely there will be one admin slot and one supermod slot (as well as yogi's mod slot) up for grabs.

IF you want the admin slot you can have it. Let's face it the stats show you are the only person doing much moderating.

Yogi_Bear is a mod for General Chat, I believe. He doesn't mod, but he does post a lot in FF&RP. He was kept on staff by Volke to keep him active. I never really agreed with that promotion, or keeping TestVirus on staff, but I wasn't going to argue with it since it was done with good intentions in mind.

At the end of the month, I was going to give away that staff helper award in the Announcements forum to Axionas, since he's made over 100 reports since the system was put in place. I was also going to start a topic asking that Axionas and Steelers be promoted to Smod.

And yes, I would like the Admin slot. I... actually just messed up the code in the ban window for the first time. I hit the backspace key and gave someone a ban with no value to it. I need some form of Admin to re-ban it and fix it. xD

Just, relax, don't wield the ban hammer like you are Thor the Mighty, and politeness is key to being a successful admin.

Volke will be losing his admin position, unless he gives me a good reason why he should keep it, likewise so will TV and so will Yogi Bear.

I'm fine with steelers and Axionas being promoted to super mod, so I may and well go do that now.

Oh fun. A new system added that scores how much users do moderator duties? If I'm right, that's looking like it's based off clicking on the staff buttons. Which actually looks like it can be forged by purging old threads/topics. Only if it isn't tracking where the staff commands are issued. Having that tracked is a good means to sort out some fortified logs of said moderation. ;D

I think that was just a 1 time thing. Mark pulled the data marked as deleted from the database, and gave it to Rich.

It's actually something that would be extremely beneficial should complete site activity get boosted. But hey, that's not something I feel like helping code.

Oh, if you haven't done so already, look into perl. It's amazing.

Ohhh, and python. Perl and Python are amazing programming languages.

I've taken a look at Python before. It didn't look TOO hard, but I didn't see many benefits to it. And isn't perl an old language?

Thats no fun. I like abusing the game and MAKING it give them to me rather it wants to or not.

Who says old means it isn't good? If you know Perl and have a degree in programming, you can work for ThinkGeek. If they accept you. Which is one possible thing I'm hoping for.

I'll look into it then. I need to stop procrastinating and finish Javascript though. That language is pretty much common sense, but I just haven't read over all of it. :/

JavaScript is cake. So is C#. If you know what you're doing.

Then again, C# is very similar to JavaScript. Just like Java is similar to C-plus-plus. (I can't use a plus sign? lolwut)
