Don't ever overclock. Video cards and CPU's have a life span, and eventually give out. The people who make the cards/chips purposely put limits on them so that they'll have a decent life spam. Overclocking pretty much just puts a noose around the chip and really cuts the life span down to nothing when compared to how long it would have lasted.

Alright then...Thanks for the advice. You're right that it reduces lifespan, though I'm considering an upgrade anyways.

Though I'm not purposely stressing/overheating. Only increased about 20% or so.

Right.

So overclocking, even just to give a minor boost, is bad either way? I'm only overclocking my Video card. Though I wish my processor ran faster than 2.00 GHz, I'm not overclocking that.
