((Everyone. The map has been updated. Some things are changed around a bit, but nothing that affects the RP much. Nearly everyone was in or near Malachi Forest, and nothing was really switched with that. Glai, I believe you were on Route 311 with the old map. That's been changed to Route 312 now. But other than that, I don't think anyone has been affected.
The map is here and on the first post in the thread.))

((and now we have another new map , courtesy of ninetails. not much different just some hills and palm trees added makes the map look more realistic.

((I suppose, with Anthony's approval of course, any suggestions on the map can be said here or in the Palavar thread. I still have the '.psd' file of the map, so I can edit names and locations of things if anyone has a big enough problem with something. Lily or I would have to re-add the hills and extra trees, but that's not a problem at all. Only takes a couple of minutes.))

Jay has been muttering to himself, pacing around his bedroom for the past hour.
Nervous and excited for the day ahead.

((So you aren't going in order of league number, but in order of where the cities are around the lake?
And very nice. I wasn't expecting you to take control of Redwood. Good idea. :p))

Jay jolts out of his worrying, and glances at the clock.

"Damn! I'm late!"

He takes off running out of his house, towards Professor RedWood's lab.

As Jay is frantically running towards the lab, he sees the Professor locking up the lab. He starts to panic.

"WAIT! WAIT UP!"
He shouts as loud as he can, trying as hard as possible to get the Professor's attention before he gets into his car and leaves.

Jay finally reaches the Professor, panting.

"I'm... *gasp* so sorry."
He has a fit of coughing, and thinks to himself, I really need to get into shape. I can't live like this anymore...

"Got distracted. *cough* Lost track of time."

PRW *looks and laughs* HAHAHA!!! *claps his shoulder heavily* its alright m'boy. so I take that you are the young julian, here for his first pokemon?

Jay stumbles from the heavy hit. More than he normally would have, due to his exhaustion.
"Well. I came to be registered as a trainer. Get a PokeDex."

He hesitates.

"But... I'd kinda prefer to catch my first Pokemon, instead of just having one handed to me. You know? Can I do that? Is that allowed?"
He slowly took on an air of desperation, greatly wishing that he would be able to catch his first Pokemon.

PRW *thinks and strokes his chin, a small beard of dark red hair matting over his hands* well... its not usual way. the league states that I give trainers their pokemon here, so that they may defend themselves gainst the wild pokemon. or that they have a pokemon with them before i send them to catch pokemon. *smiles slyly* however, if you were to run off before I could give you the pokemon with a pokedex, pokeballs, and your trainer card, than tha would be seen mmore as youthful ignorance. *stands and fakes a pain in his back* and my bak i just so sore these days. *takes his slip and printshis card, handing him everything he needs* now then, I hope you wont go running off before i choose a pokemon for you. (winks and takes his time walking to pick one*

Jay stands there, confused for a second.
And then he catches on.
He's not used to being treated with this much kindness. He doesn't know how to react at first...

"Oh! Before we do this, I should stop by my house and.. uh... change my underwear..."
He takes of running before Professor RedWood has a chance to respond.

PRW *watches him run off and shakes his head* he's gotta lot of energy, but I sure hope he meets the right pokemon or Gemao is going to eat him alive. *Shrugs and walks back to finishing closing up*

((and im gonna go to bed. if you cant handle getting your pokemon tonight in one post, it will be fine, since I think someone else will post eventually. I'll be in rubia city till LW is back so I wont be too fr ahead, and I still have to go on the route outside it and battle the gym while there anyway.

um... i think we'll all pretty much have an eevee for an eevolution, so it may be something to consider just as a running them but you dont have to.

Jay slows down as he approaches the edge of the Malachi Forest. He's not afraid of the dark. He's never been afraid of the forest.
But there's something menacing about it now.

I'm just being stupid. Too hyped-up over having this new PokeDex.
He thinks to himself as he takes it out. So... I wonder what kind of Pokemon I'd find in this forest... bugs, I'd assume. They're not too evil. I think I can handle them...

"Hi! I'm Dexter, a Pokedex programmed for the new Pokemon Trainer Julian Jameson from the town of Garne. My function is to provide you with information and advice regarding Pokemon and their training."

Jay almost dropped his Pokedex, not expecting it to start speaking as soon as he turned it on.
"Alright, so... how do I work this?" he mutters to himself, pressing random buttons.

"Ah! There we go!" A map of the forest shows up on the screen, along with a list of the Pokemon found in the area.

Jay's face paled.
Well... there's a lot more than bug Pokemon here...

I suppose I'll be safe if I stay away from the mountains and stay on the edge of the forest. Maybe just stick to the plains on the outskirts of the forest...

"Let's see...." Jay scans through the list of Pokemon in the area...
"Pidgey... Eevee... Sentret... Spinarak... Zigzagoon... Taillow..."

So many choices... I only have bug food with me... So I'll have to go for the Spinarak.
