Jay creeps through the forest, staying close enough to the plains that he can make a quick escape if need be.

((Nah. I'm good. I'm debating whether or not I want to get a Spinarak, or just have some other random bug Pokemon come out. Like that Weedle, for example.

Jay stops where he is, trying hard not to make any sudden movements.
He slowly reaches over his head to take his shirt off.

((its up to you really, whatever pokemon you want first. though i would recommend something that wont put up much of a fight since you dont have pokemon))

((Yeah, that's what I was planning... I'm thinking a Caterpie. It's a Pokemon that I've always caught in the games, and I absolutely love Butterfree.
Plus, now that I think of it, I think it may have been the first Pokemon that Ash caught in the anime... which is kinda cool. Haha.))


As Jay wipes off the sticky crap from his jeans, he looks up and sees a lone Caterpie munching on a leaf.

Jay reaches into his pack, pulling out a bag of bug snacks. ((Whatever the hell 'bug snacks' are. xD ))

He slowly walks toward the Caterpie, holding out a snack.

"Hey there little guy."

((No idea what the hell I'm doing. I should have just taken a Pokemon from RedWood. Bahaha))

((I didn't even think you would start. But since you did, I figured I'd go with it. Until I capture the Caterpie, at least. But I suppose you should stop. Not only can I get it all done in this last post, but LW is on now, so it would be slightly easier for you, I think.
I think I'm going to add something to my character's bio that allows him to understand, or at least semi-understand, what Pokemon saying. Not full language like you have with your Pokemon, but something more basic.))

I wonder if it'll be this simple. It's only a little Caterpie, I guess. This probably won't work for most other Pokemon... but at least I got this first one...
