Looks like my state might slowly start opening itself again.

Most graded the Steelers draft as either a B or C. Not too bad considering you didn't have a first rounder. I like Chase Claypool, but I don't think the Steelers needed another WR. He has the size to play TE, so perhaps they develop him into one. The Ravens and Browns, however, had amazing draft classes. That's gonna be one tough division.

Our state was set to start the opening phases on May 1st, but our stupid governor has pushed it back an additional two weeks. Our numbers are comparable to states that are already opening back up, so it makes no sense as to why we aren't doing the same. Like really, you can only do so much to slow the spread. You can't stay locked up forever. It has come to a point where ever state has done all they could to slow things down; you have to start opening up the economy in order to prevent a depression. Will more people die? Of course. But you can't let a <2% thinning of the herd stop you from saving your economy. (Most elderly people that lived through the Great Depression want the economy opened as well, not wanting their children and grandchildren to have to suffer through one. They are willing to risk their lives in order to save the country.)

I guess so, to be honest i dont know where i stand. I want the economy to,be good but i dont want a second wave like it was with Spanish Flu. I think our state is taking it by area since rhe west is better off than the east. Theyre opening up open field activities like gold courses as of Friday so i guess were on the way.

Y'all should be fine. I think you'll get at least the Wild Card now that seven teams get in the playoffs for each conference.

I'm hoping we start to open in phases starting May 15th. Everyone here just wants it to be done already.

My state is doing the same and my county is supposed to go to yellow may 15th. Restaurants are still all take out/pick up and theatres and hair places can't open. But like malls and stores can open and dictate if you need to wear a mask which is great to see all the man and women children cry about it and their "infringed" rights and all that "oppression" they've never actually experienced.

I've learned if you give people a reason to complain, usually most will. lol

We don't start opening until May 15th. I'm just hoping it doesn't get pushed back any further. One city in my state had to go on total lockdown/closures about a week ago because it's the hotbed for the virus in our state.

We've never really had anything like that here. Which makes it all the more hysterical that people are complaining about it since really you just couldn't go to the mall and stuff.

Phase 1 of reopening begins tomorrow here. Bout time. We're one of the states with the few known cases overall, and yet we're one of the last to reopen among states with similar numbers. Phase 2 to begin June 1st (hopefully). So stupid.

We'll all get there eventually I think.

It was nice. Weather had a bit of a dip, but seventy feels way better than ninety. Nothing special though.

Sorry for the late reply. It went well. I was on vacation all week so it was just extra long. I did absolutely nothing on vacation but play video games.

Did you check out the live feed of space launch? Get a little break from the (much necessary) protests and get a small love for science?

Didn't watch the launch. Don't care enough to do so.

Not paying attention to the protests either. The officer was arrested. Justice will come. I wish people would recognize discrimination is not partial to only one race, and that it has been since the beginning of time and will continue until the end of existence. Just be glad justice will be served in this case, becuase it isn't always (and I'm talking about all crimes).

I guess so. There does need to be change so I guess it's nice to see people caring this time and it not just petering out like it has been.

I'm all for equality and no discrimination, I'm just saying there are racist people and thinking within all races. I don't like the small percent of these people within all races causing a false narrative for the whole. I also don't care for the separation between denomination; all life is sacred.

Unfortunately, I'm sure it will peter out eventually, but hopefully it does some good in the meantime. Life always goes on

All sports be back. This year will be different for all sports not named football (which should have regular everything outside of fans / max capacity). The MLB is a bit rocky, but that has more to do with money since baseball is already active at the lower levels (Little League, College) in a number of states. I'm guessing the MLB will end up with 60-70 Games, making it an absolute free for all and much more interesting. The NBA will do its little bubble playoffs before beginning back up in December, which they've wanted to convert to (December-August Schedule) anyways for years to make more money. NHL is be shorted, but will be back to normal next year.

Actually, they just to play and be aired to make money for this year. But I agree, an attendance would be much better, even if at a fraction.

No like for real hockey tv deals are garbage and they already said they won't play next season without fans cause they couldn't take it.
