Mystery Dungeon Rp/Story

*The baby has taken this oportunity to chew through the leash and escape from Melody's grasp, replacing himself with a stuffed animal he found under Laura's bed. And Laura ain't waking up anytime soon with that lump on her head. The baby is currently running away from the cave with Demi's claw in his paw.*

*Derek is holding up his thumb, which he's lit on fire, in order to read the map. He's stumbling around blindly in the dark as he tries to read the directions.*
Derek-" Why do they have to be so hard to find? And why did I have to be the one to go find them? Shadow could have gotten her ugly butt out here for once and done something productive... But NOOOO, it all has to be my job. Lazy munchkin...."

Sandile: Maybe she didn't think it was important enough? At least your heading the right way.

Demi: Where we go?

"But what are you doing out here anyways? It's not like you to randomly be wandering in the desert unless it was important. Besides, does Shadow even know you're gone?"

Derek-" ...I'm not sure of anything anymore."
*He rolls the map up and starts beating the Sandile over the head with it.*
Derek-" STOP FOLLOWING ME."

*The baby squeaks as he bounces above the tree line again and points to a mountain in the distance. He really will go to any lengths to get away from his mother...*

Sandile: Ouch hey I was just trying to help! *It dives under the sand.*
*In the distance there seems to be more rocky ground then sand. and in fact the sand where Derek is walking seems to be more compact as if theres rock under it.*

Demi: No that to far. *Just then Melody jumps up and grabs them both.*

Melody: If you keep running from me like that you'll never get your name.

*Ben is sitting above the hole Stardust feel into not too long ago. A tape recorder and small writing book in his paws*
Ben: I wanna hear em again...
*He turns around and slowly starts climbing back down*


*Kane pulls himself over the hilltop leading to New Vegas. He smiles as he looks back over at Lilith before back to a giant pillar of smoke*
Kane:...holy crap...

A Zoroark known as Ace comes running Kane and Lilith's direction from the other side of the hill, a trail of smoke behind her and all the while screaming "I DIDN'T DO IT!".
Even the crazy ones know how to make an entrance.
Wait, how did she even get there in the first place!? o_O

*The tunnels of the cavern are eerily silent at first. As Ben nears the bottom of the tunnels first one voice, then another then followed by more slowly whisper things. What they say seem to be in some lost language.*

Lilith: What is going on? *She climbs up onto the hilltop next to Kane and looks at the smoke.*

Ace trips on a rock and tumbles up, yes, up, the rest of the hill and runs smack into Lilith.


A certain fluffy bird has been hiding nearby, and decides to follow Ben.

*When Ace tumbles into Lilith this knocks her back and she rolls down the hill a little ways again getting grass and twigs in her fur. Quickly she gets up and shakes herself before running back up the hill.*

Ace timidly activates her Illusion and turns into Lilith before climbing back up the hill as well.

*Lilith seeing this skids to a stop and stares at Ace puzzled. She tilts her head and frowns.*
Lilith: What are you doing?

"What are YOU doing?" Ace asks, mimicking Lilith's voice surprisingly well as she tilts her head.

*Kane looks back at the two with a ._. face before Hal at the destroyed city. Almost imedietly he takes off running towered it*
Kane: There's something wrong!



*Ben pulls the tape recorder out and clicks it on*
Ben: Don't wun....just gotta stay here a little longer...
*The same symbols from Melody's occurrence start appearing on the walls around him a well*

Cloudburst the fluffy grey turkey Altaria glides silently behind Ben, not wanting to startle him.

Ace just gets a -.- face as if to say, "Fine, DON'T answer my question" before running off after Kane. "I kinda figured that when I saw the GIANT PILLAR OF SMOKE!" She yells instead.

*Lilith says something in Greek before shaking her head and running after Kane. Bet Ace can't copy that.*
Lilith: What could of caused this?!

*Not only can the voice's whispers can be heard in the tunnels but the steady drip drip of water somewhere farther in echoes and if you listen hard enough theres the faint sounds of claws clicking on the stone floor.*

No, she can't. She was too far ahead to have heard it anyways.


Cloudburst looks past Ben, trying to see where the sound of the clicking's coming from.

*Ben starts writing down the symbols as quickly as he possibly can. Not paying any attention the new person who he doesn't know*
Ben: Dat sound again what is it....?


Kane: No idea! Seems like there was an explosion!
*He skids to a stop as approaches the town gates*
Kane: =_= Aw damn I can't open this thing...

*The sound of clicking if from much deeper in the tunnels and not a threat at the moment.*

*Lilith is right on her heels to be honest. Lilith pauses for a moment when she sees almost all of the buildings on fire or in ruins.*

"Speaking of which, it wasn't my fault." Ace tells Kane, stopping beside him. "Stand back." She says before turning back into a Zoroark and making the gates explode open with a Night Daze.


Cloudburst flies overhead Ben and deeper into the tunnel. I suppose she'd look kinda like a ghost in this (lack of) light, being naturally greyscale as it is and all.
