((Hmm... this might be terrible timing.
There's a huge (supposedly) snow storm that's about to hit my area. My internet connection has already started cutting out. And it's not even snowing yet. But it's supposed to last all night. Maybe even in to tomorrow night.
Hopefully you can sidetrack yourselves enough to wait for the gym challenge. I'd recommend waiting until I'm sure the storm is passed, or you'll be stuck waiting for me, when I may not have any connection.))

Jay pulls out a Pokeball from his pack.
"Hey, do you know what this is?"

The Caterpie looks at the ball. It seems to have a questioning look in its eyes.

The Caterpie just gazes at Jay.

He hesitates.

well, I think we may need to work on your attacks, but it would be nice to see if we can get some help with this gym first. *looks up* casem, im gonna go see whats around the city. do you think you can take the gym now?

Jay, after staring at the Caterpie for a few seconds, was just about to give up.
His heart was so low, it could have been in the dirt.

But then, right when he was about to stand up, the Caterpie gave a slight nod of its head.

Jay's heart shot up faster than a Bottle Rocket.

"Really!? You mean it?"

The Caterpie nodded again.

well, id ont mind watching your match.
It would be a great way to know whats coming for the gym.
and to see how well my little friend there is learning to fight.

*Smiles* ok, lets head in then *looks for the door*
R: *looks around*

"Alright, here we go."

Jay stands up, maximises the Pokeball, and drops it right on Caterpie's head.

And he waits.

Lizzy appears, seemingly as if she was inside of the largest boulder on the field.
She's wearing her typical outfit - bright yellows and blues. Her hair is standing on end, like usual. And, of course, no shoes.

"So... you've come to challenge me?"
Her tone was suddenly much more serious than the craziness it was before.

Jay releases Caterpie from the Pokeball, then pulls out his Pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
