*Maria nods.*

*Shade moans and starts kicking his foot.*
"Ooooohhh...That feels goooood."
R-"Hehe, that's funny!" ^_^
*Shade keeps kicking.*
"You have NO idea how good this feels...."
"I sure don't."
*He smiles, gets up, and starts rubbing her tummy.*
"Now you do."

nods and nuzzles against maria. "i dont know what to do anymore i met people who talked about some guild place and i haven't seen them since"

*Silver swims deeper to investigate more*

*she finishes and looks around. dozens of houses are in the same condition. corpes liter the streets, hanging off of street poles, shoved under houses, thrown through walls. sam falls down, not sure what to make of this as fear grips her heart*
sam-" wha... what...? who would do this...?"
*she looks over and sees a fire blade with red aura pulsing through it still stuck in a brick wall. it's pinning the body of a muchlax to the wall about 6 feet up. as with all the other bodies, its decaying rapidly. sam walks over to it, trying to ignore the flies and maggots on the ground below it. she pulls the blade out and the body falls to the ground with a sickening plop sound. sam looks at the blade, being careful to hold it by the handle*
sam-" daddy..."

*Maria thinks.*
"I hope you can remember soon..."

S-"Hehe...Cute."
*Keeps rubbing.*
"Oh yeah..."
*Keeps vibrating.*
*Shade smiles. He licks her tummy. Ruby gets a 0-o face.*
"Whoa...that feels weird..."
"Sorry..."
*Goes back to rubbing. She smiles.*
"Your so sweet Shade."

sam-" but... he's dead..."
*looks around and realizes the damage was done weeks ago*
sam-" ...but how...? why? he's never been one to hurt the innocent... much less senslessly murder them in cold blood"
*sam's eyes widen as she sees angel stumbling over to one of the bodies*
O_O
sam-" angel, no!"
*she picks angel up and start walking away from the village quickly*

: me two me two" he said falling asleep next to her. "i wish i knew where i came from and who i am" he mummbled

sam-" oh, that could have ended badly"
*looks down at angel*
sam-" you need to stay away from dead people"

*Angel tilts her head, confused.*

sam-" if something doesn't move, avoid it... now where's your father?"

*Wags tail.*
"Thank you." ^^
Ruby: "Anytime for you."
*Shade lies next to her, still rubbing.*
Ruby: "Why did you decide that night at the oasis to stay with me all night?"
Shade: "I... I dunno... I just feel... At home when I'm around you..."
*Shudders as he remembers the night.*
"Sorry about what happened that night..."

*Angel mimes sleeping.*

-_-
sam-" lazy basterd..."
*she covers her own mouth*
o_o
sam-" angel, never repeat anything mommy says, k?"

*Angel doesn't notice anything she says, she just plays with one of Sam's whiskers.*
(ROFL nice sig, derek)

((thankie :3))
*sam yanks out one of hers*
sam-" no, i dont like that"

;_; *Angel starts crying.*

-_-
sam-" you are the loudest kid i've ever met in my life..."

*Calms down after about 30 seconds. Nuzzles Sam.*

((later garret, im gone))
*sam lays down by a tree and falls asleep*

*chris lays down outside of a large town and curls up around kate*

*Angel falls asleep in her arms.*

*Tera is watching Chris and Kate from a tree.*

Ruby: "Oh, it's okay. I think of you as family... You're like a brother I wish I had..."
*She thinks about her missing parents. She sighs heavily. She reaches over and gives him a kiss on the nose.*
"Thanks for everything, Shade..."
Shade: "What have I done that deserves thanks?"
Ruby: "Everything. You've proven yourself as a true friend. I'll cherish our memories until the very end..."
*Shade smiles and hugs her.*
Shade: "As will I..."
Ruby: "I look forward to the day when we can look back and enjoy past memories together when we're old..."
*Shade stops and pulls away, pain in his eyes.*
Shade: "... Ruby... I... I won't get old..."
*She gets confused.*
Ruby: "What? Why...?"
*Shade closes his eyes. A tear slides down his cheek.*
Shade: "I'm immortal..."
*She frowns.*
Ruby: "That must be horrible... That means..."
*Looks down.*
"When I die one day..."
Shade: "I'll still be as you see me now... I've lived a thousand lifetimes, watched all the people I care about grow old and die..."
*Shakes his head.*
"That's why I usually don't get close to people..."
Ruby: "Oh..."
*She wipes a tear away.*
"I see... Well, don't worry about losing me anytime soon... Flygon live for nearly 250 years..."
*Shade nuzzles her.*
Shade: "Alright..."
*He has a stray thought, but ignores it.*
I can't curse her like that... No one should ever be immortal...
