*Wes is laying on the floor of the castle after passing out. There's vomit in the back of his throat and his eyes are bleeding in the corners. He's moaning weakly but it can't be heard over Rai's screams of pain. Hearing this and getting annoyed, the Brute hits the wall of his room deep under the castle in the dungeon, making it shake. Rai is screaming like someone is killing her but no one is willing to help. Eventually, the screams die down only to be replaced by a shrill crying*

*Derek starts pecking at Sam's head*
Derek-" Samantha, I wanna hear a story... like why you're in pain"
Sam-" Trust me, you don't wanna know. You're far too young to even understand"
Derek-" Well how old are you?"
Sam-" ....Not important"
Derek-" I'm plenty old enough. I'm not young"
*Sam flicks him off of her head with her tail. He lands in a pile of snow and she walks off, leaving him there with her tail ring's impression on his side*
Sam-" I'm used to sitting on your head, not the other way around. It just doesn't feel right"
*Sam rubs her belly and walks home to find Chris outside, sitting on a frozen pot of water. Chris is staring at the woods, deep in thought*
Chris-" Only a few more weeks.... then I have to tell her how I feel...."
*He whimpers a little*
Chris-" I hope this ends well... I need to pick the right time and place first... I need to find out where she likes to go and what her favorite time of day is"
*He jumps off the pot, making the ice that's covering the top crack and starts walking towards the woods. Without even looking at her, he passes right by Sam*

*Chris wanders around, seeking out the scent of Tera but can't seem to come up with anything. Letting out a sigh, he sits down on a stump and looks up at the moon. Its slightly hazy through the clouds but he can still make out that its full tonight. A cloud moves out of the way, allowing a single strand of its dull light to hit Chris in the forehead*
Chris-" Maybe this is all a bad idea. Tera started off her life as someone who was cruel and selfish. No one that's lived like that for so long could ever change... maybe I'm just chasing silly little fantasies that were never meant to come true. I should probably just give up now before I get too far into this only to have it blow up in my face"
*He lays down as the sliver of light disappears, leaving the forest in inky black darkness once again. A lump of snow falls from a tree branch and falls on him, completely covering him. He makes no effort to shake it off or even move away. He just lies there, slowly falling asleep under the cold, soft, white blanket of ice crystals. Kate is nearby, watching and listening to him from the shadows*
Kate-" I should have never opened my mouth about what happened between me and Tera. Look at him now, he's trying to forget about her and go back to living through his old memories..."
*Kate sighs and walks over to the pile of snow that Chris is under. She sticks her head in the snow and grabs his tail. With several sharp tugs, she starts pulling him out. Chris is still awake, but ignores the fact that she's digging her teeth into his tail just to pull him out. While daydreaming a little, he stares at a hole in a nearby tree*
