"And just what do you think you're doing?"

Kate-" Too many people popping out of the woods!"
*She takes off running*

*Tera sighs and follows her.*
"Kate, can I please talk to you?"

*comes up in front of here*
"You running off is reason to think you're hiding something."

*Kate hides in a bush*

Kate-" No, I'm too scared"
*Points to the Rp thread*
Kate-" Do you see how many posts popped up within a minute and a half! How can they expect a little girl to keep up with this crap!"

(GlitchMaster, can Tera please talk to Kate? Alone?)
*Tera sighs.*
"Go away, (GlitchMaster)."

*Kate is still hiding in the bush with only her fluffy tail popping out*
Kate-" What do you want Tera?!"

*sits by her*
"There's no reason to fear activity. It's what keeps this place alive. Once you learn that, you'll catch up."

Kate-" Screw the living and live for the dead!"

*Tera sighs. She opens a portal and pushes (Glitchmaster) through it. He lands on top of Garret at Dereks house.*
Tera: "Stay."
*The portal closes.*
Garret: -_- "Why is someone on top of me?"

Tera: "I... I wanted to apologize..."

*Silver just keeps sleeping*

*She pops her head out of the bush and looks at Tera. Small twigs and leaves are stuck in her fur*
Kate-" For what mean old blue doggy?"

*gets off Garret*
"Don't mind me, I was just warped against my will."
*disappears*

Tera: "For everything... Mostly for what I did all those years ago... When I killed you..."
*Tears start in her eyes.*
"I didn't want to... But that still didn't give me the right to do what I did... And I'm sorry if I've seemed mean to you at all since you've known me... I'm really trying to be a better person..."

Kate-" Uh huh..."
*She looks past Tera*
Kate-" Chris is sneaking off again. He's going to get hurt"

*Worry shows in Tera's eyes. She looks back at Chris.*

*Silver lifts her head up and looks around*

*A large bee hive is nestled in the hole on the side of a tree. Chris has his head buried in the hole, eating the honey inside. The loud roar of the bees flying around him can be heard*

"....."
*Walks over and pulls him out, healing any sting injuries.*
"Chris..."
*She freezes the bees in time temporarily.*

*Small birds are chirping in the forest as the bright red sun rises over the hazy mountains in the distance. Long, dark shadows are cast upon the leafy ground in the forest from the barren trees that stand close together. The crisp crunch of frozen leave can be heard echoing slightly through it. Sam, who is looking down at her feet, is slowly walking around the trees, not paying attention to where she's going. Her normally soft fur is spiked and wet from her getting rained on last night. From the look on her face, she doesn't seem to care that its freezing outside and she's drenched from head to toe. There's mud caked on the top of her head and cheeks from when she slipped and fell. Dried tears have left their stains as they made a path through the mud on her cheeks. Her arms swing loosely by her sides. With a sickening squishing noise, a large thorn goes through her foot as she steps on it. The only thing she does is stop and stare at it for a moment before sighing and carrying on with her walk, not even taking the time to pull it out. It has penetrated all the way through to the top of her foot where it just barely pushes up against the bottom layer of skin. This wound leaves a trail of blood behind in the shape of her foot with every step she takes. She's far too deep in thought to even feel the throbbing pain that would cripple any normal person and bring them to their knees. Through her eyes, the leave look like blurs as she passes by them*
Sam- I'm so stupid... I can't even bring myself to marry the love of my life... all because I want to do the right thing and wait a year. He must think so little of me because of that face... and I wouldn't blame him one bit. Where did I even pick up that mentality..."
*Sam thinks back and remembers Maria telling her to wait a year before even thinking of marriage to get to really know the person. To see what they were really like on the inside and work your way past the false front that most people put up just to try to find love in the wrong people and places. Finally stopping to sit down and pull the thorn out, Sam looks at the tree's in the distance. There isn't any sight of a clearing from what she can see sitting on the ground. Taking a firm grasp of the thorn, she slowly wiggles it out of her long, dirty foot. As soon as its out, blood pours from an open artery in her foot and pools on the leaves below. Without even worrying about it, Sam puts her tail to her foot and lets her Temporal Scar glow a deep pink and heal the hole with spacial energy. The skin cells slowly start to multiply and seal the wound, leaving no trace that the wound was ever even there. A stick breaks under something's feet nearby and makes Sam's ears perk up. Looking around at the seemingly empty forest, she isn't able to see anything that could have made that noise other than the singing Starly in the tree branches above. The fact that they're far too light to break a stick like that runs through Sam's head, causing a slight state of panic and awareness to flood her mind. The fur on the back of her neck stands up and she grits her teeth, getting ready to attack anything that comes near her. Her tail draws closer to her body, getting ready to spring out like a scorpion and stab or cut at a moments notice. A voice emanates from right behind her, making her leap off of the ground and turn to face it*
Derek-" What are you doing all the way out here Samantha?"
*She growls at Derek slightly but relaxes and takes joy in the fact that its just him and not something that could cause her bodily harm*
Sam-" I'm trying to get a break from everyone. To find a place where I can relax and think in peace"
*Derek just happens to notice the paths on her cheeks left by the tears making their way through the mud caked on her face*
Derek-" Rough night? Looks like you've had quite a lot to think about"
*Reaching up with his small wing, he brushes the mud off of her face and smiles at her. Sighing, she puts a hand on his forehead and kisses it*
Sam-" Thanks daddy, I'm glad you're around when I need you... just like you've always been"
*He looks at her, slightly confused by what she just said*
Derek-" Again with the 'daddy' thing. Why call me something like that? You're so much older than me..."
Sam-" Never mind, just forget I said anything. Hey, what are you doing out here? This isn't exactly the place for someone your age"
Derek-" Oh... I was following you. I saw a trail of blood made with your paw print and thought I would pop in for a visit"
*Sam sighs heavily after hearing this and pinches his beak with her paw. With a subtle grin on her face, she looks up at him and wiggles his beak around*
Sam-" Nasty little stalking Torchic needs to find a new hobby because chasing little mousy around isn't the best idea. Mousy has a sharp tail and almost cut little Torchic's head off earlier"
*As she lets go of his beak, Derek gulps and holds his neck with his small wing. The pain of having it cut in half is already creeping its way into his mind as he stares at her grin. She laughs and pets his head*
Sam-" I'm only kidding Derek. There's no reason for you to be scared when you're around me. Now, seeing as its still early in the morning, I only have one question. You hungry yet?"
*Derek's stomach growls loudly before she can even finish her sentence, giving away a sure sign that his stomach yearns for food. Giving her a slight nod, he jumps onto her head and nips at her ears. Sam smiles and starts walking north in search of the town. The whole time she's walking, he's nibbling on her ear with his small beak, being careful not to hurt her in any way but simply tickle her and make her laugh. Eventually, Sam makes her way out of the woods and finds herself standing atop a large hill overlooking Treasure town from the south. The ocean can be heard smashing into the rocks below the cliff that Treasure Town sits on. The rain from the previous night has turned everything into a muddy mess and then frozen before the sun could come up. Trees are split down the middle and tumbled over onto the ground from the weight of the ice that has frozen atop their branches. The power lines that keep the town filled with electricity share the same fate. The lines running to the guild are snapped in half and sparking violently on the ground. Chatot is standing at the main entrance to the guild, watching the downed power lines and making sure none of the children from town get anywhere near them. Sam waves to Chatot as she passes the path leading to the guild off to her right. Derek looks at Chatot with a puzzled look on his face from never seeing something like him before. Sam pushes on his cheek so he's facing the direction that she's walking in and enters town. The smell of fresh food cooked with numerous, vividly scented spices looms in the air. Drooling a little from the beak, Derek looks around, trying to pick out a place to eat at*
Sam-" Tell me Derek, what are you in the mood for this morning? Eggs? Fruit? More Pidgey that have no chance of escaping your grip on them?"
Derek-" Sam... I would just eat some raw meat from any of these shops... but I have no money. Maria took the last of mine to buy herself ice cream a few days ago"
*Sam grumbles under her breath and pulls out 3,000 poke. She hands half of it to Derek and smiles*
Sam-" You don't have to worry about paying for anything, I have it all covered today. Come on, there's a place not far from here that I've wanted to try for a while"
*Sam starts walking towards a small hut set outside the town. Smoke is pouring from a pipe atop the roof of the house, letting out sweet odors of barbecue, freshly cooked over a grill. Derek starts to glow bright blue for an instant but stops before Sam can look up at him. A small light broke free from his body and disappeared by phasing into a nearby tree. As soon as she looks up at Derek, she stops walking*
Sam-" What was that light? I could have sworn it came from you..."
*Derek is far to distracted by the smell coming from the hut to notice anything at all. After Sam snaps her fingers in front of his face, he awakens from his day dream and stares at her*
Derek-" Wha... what is it? I didn't see any light at all"
*Sam just shakes her head and walks towards the hut. Once she walks inside, she takes a seat in a booth and puts Derek on the opposite side of the table. He's barely tall enough for the feathers on his head to be seen over the table so Sam decides to put him in her lap*
Derek-" Sam... I have a question that's been eating away at me ever since Shadow said it to me..."
*He looks up at her. The look on his face says that he really wants an honest answer from her*
Sam-" What is it Derek? I'll do my best to answer any question I can"
Derek-" Well... Shadow told me that I had a past life before this. She said I was reborn as a Torchic because I hated my memories and wanted to get a fresh start on things... but the part that's really bothering me is what she said about me and her. She said that she was my girlfriend... but that's impossible. She's not my type at all... and I kinda like Maria. She's cute, fun, nice... while Shadow is... just strange"
Sam-" Derek... what she told you is true... you did have a past life. In fact, I'm actually your daughter. Maria left you to be with someone else and when you really needed someone to pick you back up and help you get on with your life, Shadow was there. You ended up falling in love with her and having a kid named Alex"
*The weightier come up and taps Sam on the shoulder*
Weightier-" Mam, you're needed in the kitchen. The chef would like to have a word with you"
*Without even looking at the weightier, Sam holds her paw up*
Sam-" Hold on, I'm talking to my father at the moment"
*Derek is staring at the weightier with wide eyes*
Derek-" You look just like me Mr..."
*Sam finally looks up to see her weightier is a blue Blaziken*
Weightier-" Really, you need to go back there, NOW"
*Sam whimpers a little and puts Derek down on the bench. Her and the weightier go into the back. He turns to face her once they're out of sight of the young Derek*
Derek-" Sam, what did I tell you. Don't screw this up. If you and Shadow keep opening your yaps about all this stuff, the memories are going to find a way out and I'm going to be stuck as my old miserable self again"
Sam-" ...Daddy, with all respect, ****' you. You have no idea what you've done to all of us. Shadow's been crying her eyes out for that past few days because your younger self doesn't remember her and is starting to like mommy again. What you've done here is completely selfish and you should be ashamed of yourself because of it"
*Derek growls and glares at Sam but still manages to talk in a calm tone of voice*
Derek-" Sam, you're just going to have to get used to it. There are so many things I never want to remember... you have no idea what I've been going through all my life"
Sam-" It can't be any worse than what you've put Shadow through. If you could have only seen her... I've never seen her cry like that. I wouldn't put it past her to just go and kill herself right now"
*Derek chokes a little on a tear but tries to pull himself together enough to keep talking to her*
Sam-" Daddy, please come back... or at least give me a good reason why you're doing this to us. You just saying that you hate your memories isn't going to cut it anymore."
Derek-" Sam..."
Sam-" You know what, stop. You're apparently not getting something here. You say your memories are the thing that you wanted to avoid. Your life started going down the drain the very day you met mommy. If your younger self is falling in love with her, history is just bound to repeat itself. Shadow was there to save you from your memories but you, acting like a complete idiot, ignored her and kept mommy on your mind. Stop! Realize that Shadow is the best thing that's ever happened to you and don't ruin it! If you stay like this, you're going to be in a worse position than you were before... but if you come back, you can be with Shadow and have a normal life"
Derek-" ...I hate it when you're right... How could I have been so stupid? I need Shadow... I can't let my younger self fall in love with Maria. Thank you so much Sam"
*The younger, Torchic Derek disappears in a flash of light and the real Derek runs out of the hut, screaming Shadow's name at the top of his lungs. He's running around town, trying to find her; Trying to apologize for all the stupid things he's done. Sam sighs contently and walks out of the hut. As she sits by the side of it and watches the clouds roll by overhead, she can't help but think how bad things could have been*
Sam-" Maybe he'll show me what went so wrong one day... maybe..."
