"Ooh, that's so horrible!"
*She rolls her eyes.*
"You were always an idiot Derek..."
*She walks over to some kind of panel on the wall, and presses a button. Derek is lifted above the guillotine, and starts to swing slowly.*

*Kate jumps down onto his head*

*The diamond on his back starts to glow in a dull, white light. The chains start to glow red from the heat*
Derek-" 3 seconds"

*The chain lowers so much that Derek can feel the guillotine's blade rubbing across his beak everytime he swings above it.*

*Derek's beak starts to glow and he pecks at it. His attack is strong enough to dull the blade at one point and put a crack in it. He looks at Maria as if saying 'you're next'*

Kate-" Oooo... lets go get some more"

*Within an instant, Derek jerks on the chains hard so they break at the ceiling, leaving them attached to his hands. He lands on the edge of the blade on one foot, balancing perfectly. Pulling back his hand, he uses the chain like a whip to strike Maria across the cheek*
Derek-" Maria, I warned you"
