Mystery Dungeon Rp/Story

*the shadow flies lower and as it flies over them there is a huge gust of wind letting them know its something big*


*Starlight sighs*

*Slash looks at Jewel.*

*Lilac looks at the shadow to.*

Now what else do we need?

*Jewel keeps watching him.*

*Within a half hour, Glaceon pushes himself to climb over the rolling hills all the way to the mountain pass where one of his rescue teams were suppose to be. In the center stand an Aggron, Alakazam, and Sableye, all trying to redirect a stream so that the plain won't flood every time a heavy rain comes along. As Glaceon walks up behind them, he feels something is desperately wrong with him, but manages to keep himself together long enough to take care of the team business*
Glaceon-" Abort the mission, we've had more troubling matters. I want you three to get back to the guild and do guard duty until I return. No one aside from guild members enter, and under no conditions are people to leave the guild, understand?"
*All he gets in return is a simple nod as the three abandon the ditch they were digging and head off. Glaceon's legs are shaking as he struggles to stand up. His breathing is halted at times as he finds himself choking. The once dull pain in his chest i snow a searing one, bad enough to normally bring anyone else to their knees in crippling pain. He knows all to well what it is; a heart attack. The guild doctor had told him he didn't have long left to live due to his heart, but being as stubborn as he is, he never listened. A sense of end begins to creep over his mind as his vision blurs, his only last sight being the three leaving back to the guild*

*Slash looks at the shadow.*

Tokala-"What is that?"

*Maria thinks.*
"Feathers?"

Please don't pluck me. ;_;

Lilac: No idea.

*a loud roar rings out that shakes the land as the shadow flies overhead again*

*Starlight waits*

"We're all gonna dai!"
*Slash uses Tokala as a shield for anything that might fall from the sky.*

*Kein stands over Glaceon just as he begins to close his eyes for the last time*
Kein-" Should have listened for once instead of acting old man and let me help you. You know the rules of war, the most apparent approach isn't always the best"
*The Glaceon opens his mouth to let out a last phrase before Kein speaks up*
Kein-" Don't even say it, I know what to do. I'll make sure they're all safe. Just rest now old timer, you've earned it...."
*He puts a hand on the Glaceon's side to feel the last breath escape his lungs before he starts to dig a deep grave for him. The sight of Glaceon on the ground brings back memories of the war, also bringing tears to Kein's eyes as he digs*

Maria-"No, I was thinking more of a Skamory..."

*Tokala tries to get a glimpse of what's flying overhead.*

*Kein gets hit with a hydro pump*


*the figure looks like a large dragon*

*Kein holds up a finger to split the stream of water around him as he keeps digging. The water stays high in the air due to a strong psychic attack, not falling to the ground to fill the hole he's digging at the moment with his fee hand. Once it's deep enough, he picks Glaceon up with his fee hand and gently places him in the hole, sitting just on the rim of it to look at him*
Kein-" We had some fun, didn't we old man? First friend I ever made after I lost Maria... can't believe things turned out the way they did... you should have joined my side in the war, not that egotistical government..."
*He still seems to be crying into the hole*

*Starlight comes and goes to hit Kein*
leave now!

Oh alright.

Lilac: Dragon.

*Jewel stares at Slash like hes crazy.*

*Kein's glowing blue eyes drench his beak as he still holds up the water with the psychic. Still looking down at his hold friend's body, he sends a wave of energy back to slow down Starlight and forms the water still floating in the air around her. The water begins to harden on top of her, increasing in weight by the second*
Kein-" P*ss off kid, I don't have time to deal with anyone right now, least of all someone like you"
*Standing up, he kicks the dirt into the hole with one foot and holds out one hand, forming a fire rose in it and throwing it down on top of the grave as one final gift. The eternally burning rose burns brightly on the grave, sizzling as the cloudy skies begin to leak and cover both of them with its tears*

*Starlight growls*
it figures another thing that the world doesn't need why don't you go die in a hole yourself......it would suit you just fine.....


*the figure keeps flying around*

*Lilly sniffs around trying to pick up anything that would indcate that Derek was in the area.*

Kein-" Can't tell you how many times I've been told that. I'll let you in on something, the hourglass' empty and time's slipping away. The picture's frozen, and everyone's going to be trapped in it forever"
*As he walks away, he pats Starlight's cheek hard and disappears as if he were a mirage, leaving the only indication that he was there the burning rose*

*Slash looks at the dragon.*
